Gently pushing it open, I peered inside and saw a small, black kitten curled up on the floor. My heart melted at the sight. The kitten was absolutely adorable, its glossy fur gleaming under the soft light filtering through the room. Unable to resist, I stepped inside and knelt down, reaching out a hand to the tiny creature. The kitten looked up at me with wide, curious eyes before rubbing its head against my hand, purring softly. “Hey there, little one,” I whispered, smiling as I gently scratched behind its ears. The kitten responded by playfully swatting at my fingers, making me laugh.

Just as he was about to speak, a cat's meow suddenly came from the window. He was on the second floor, and birds and cats often jumped onto the windowsill. Frowning slightly, Sullivan felt a flicker of irritation. He had been scratched by a cat as a child and had despised them ever since. Ruby looked out the window and spotted a small calico cat trying to claw its way through the gap, seemingly eager to come inside. Her eyes widened in surprise. The calico cat was small and thin, likely no more than two months old. Who knew how it had managed to climb onto the windowsill?

Chapter 18 "Mommy, may I take care of this tiny kitten?" Luciana inquired amidst our enjoyment at the Dandelion Festival that evening. Her attention was captured by a kitten, having black and white fur, that approached her and seemed to like her. I blinked before going to see the kitten she had in her arms. "May I see this little one?" I squatted so our faces would be even. Luciana handed me the kitten with care, and I examined it to determine its gender. "A male, I see..." I nodded in agreement, estimating that it might be around two months old. "Have you decided on a name for her, Lulu?" I asked, saying her nickname.

In the quiet hum of the testing lab, amidst the sterile white walls and the gentle whirring of machinery, a small tabby cat slinked in through a partially open window. Its emerald eyes scanned the room, curiosity piqued by the sight of a lone bottle of milk sitting on a laboratory table. Hunger gnawed at its stomach, a primal urge that led it closer to the tantalizing scent of fresh dairy. The bottle, with its cap carelessly left open, beckoned like an oasis in the desert. With a swift paw, the cat nudged the bottle, sending it teetering towards the edge. The milk inside sloshed, a promise of nourishment and comfort.

There were neat, small sticky notes poking out from almost every single chapter. I opened to the first marked page. In Maverick’s handwriting, there was a note that read: “Does page 14 mean the data moves faster if you shorten the string? Let me know if I got that right.” I stared at the note, my heart feeling so light that I felt like a teenager again. I looked up at him, completely stunned. "Maverick... did you buy a coding textbook?"

I say, he smiled a big wide smile knowing that the witch is gone. "Whom?" he says with a frown this time, he doesn't want anyone else to take his place as the house's youngest. "Iris, she's a kitten, and she's a little," I say explaining things he would understand about the little girl. "A little?" he says the frown getting deeper now. "Yes, she's such a young kitten, you'll love her," I assure him, but his frown said otherwise, he's not happy about a little being around.

“It’s… fragile.” Her eyes widened, and she carefully untied the bow, her fingers trembling with anticipation. When the ribbon fell away, she lifted the lid slowly, and the box moved. She yelped in surprise, pulling the lid off completely. Inside was a tiny, fluffy calico kitten, a patchwork of black, gray, orange, and white. Its wide blue eyes looked up at her, and it let out a pitiful little “Meeeeow!” “Oh! Ohhh!” Kathrine gasped, scooping the kitten into her arms. It clung to her bright green shirt with its tiny claws, mewling softly. “She’s so cute and tiny and…!”

The cat Percival had bought was a Ragdoll with deep blue eyes, not shy at all, rubbing against everything and everyone, still a very small kitten needing to be fed sheep's milk. The kitten was lively, wobbling around on its short legs, its pink paws pressing against people's palms as it kneaded. The two- or three-month-old kitten was only as big as her hands, a round bundle. Eulalia carefully held the kitten and bent over to sniff it, even smelling like milk. With such a cute pet around, the usually quiet villa became lively, and even the stern butler seemed to smile more, his gaze affectionately on Eulalia.

I plucked three daisies and uttered sorry to the other flowers for I have taken three daisies from them. And before I got up from crouching down, I heard a little meow. I looked around and then there I heard it again. I followed the voice and behind a small log, there was an orange colored tiny kitten. Goddess! Someone might have abandoned this kitten here. How heartless! How could they leave such a poor cute little thing? “Meow.” I uttered, mimicking a cat’s tone. The kitten looked at me, and so I repeated it again,

RAAAARRRRRRRR… Long Chen was startled by the roar coming from ahead of him; he thought that the "uncle" Miss Lin was referring to might be a beast. But when Long Chen looked more closely, he saw a small figure perched on the back of a fire beast, and his smile froze instantly. That small figure was an ordinary white cat that could speak to Miss Lin. "Hoho! My sweet niece, I’ve finally found you!" The cat said, immediately flying over and approaching Miss Lin.
