“We can regroup inside!” The group burst into the library, slamming the heavy doors but broken doors shut behind them. The infected pounded on the wood, their snarls echoing through the halls. Bayo leaned against a nearby bookshelf, catching his breath. “This can’t keep up,” he said, sweat dripping from his brow. “We need a plan.” Justin looked around the library "This brings back old unpleasant memories." He shuddered. Luke scanned the room, his mind racing. The library was massive, with rows of bookshelves and scattered tables. “We could create a bottleneck,” he said. “Force them to come at us one at a time.”

His leg brushed mine the entire time. I picked mine and Lycer's first stop as one I knew he would like. The pack library. It was more than twice the size of the one in the pack house. I didn't often spend time here but I occasionally had to pick up a book for my lessons. Right now, my goal is to read through all the books in the pack house and then move on to tackling the library. Though, some of the academic books confuse me. . . I'll save those for last.

Mylla thought about it for a while before she replied, “We should have at least fifteen to twenty schools, ten libraries, one in each district, and a major library in the pack mansion. Back in the Red Sky Pack, the number of schools was just five, and the library was two, one in the pack and the other in the pack mansion.

The e-library and ‘graphic charts' that helped aids explanation for any course, was a huge topping on the parfait. So, Anthony was confused as to why Jess and Jaden had come here instead. The University management had warned that students desist from the mini library at night. It wasn’t connected to the power supply so they had to use candles to read. It wasn’t advisable and it could cause a fire. The mini library was no safe too, as it was at the farther end of the school. It was supposed to be used only in the day time by special students who couldn’t use the public library for a valid reason.

Ellie’s POV The library was smaller than I expected, really just one long room at the back of the meeting house. But it was packed full, the shelves stretching all the way from the floor to the ceiling. Small, but mighty; exactly what I needed. The section on local plant life was tucked between a section on historical accounts and fiction novels, which was an interesting method of organization, to say the least. To my dismay, there were only three books in the entire section. Not so mighty, I supposed.

She had looked at the public planning documents again, the approved drawings, the design statement that Daniel had written for the planning application eighteen months ago and which was available to anyone who searched for it. She had a question.

I didn’t make it far, just up to an abandoned park, it’s where my car died, it wouldn’t start anymore but it was okay, that’s as far as I’m going from here. Lulu, my stuffed grey wolf with purple eyes was my one and only loyal friend, she was with me when I spent the six dollars, when I was too hungry and was ready to beg for food. She was also hidden in my backpack when I applied for the job in the local library, I always had a weak spot for the books and stories, when they took me I couldn’t be happier.
