There was no turning back now!
As I stepped further into the library, everything before me seemed to fade and a dim light slowly emerged.
The library’s architecture was breathtaking in its original form, light marble with golden accents and high pillars.
I had expected only two floors, but I soon realized there were three. Shelves lined with thousands of scrolls reached up on each level, with smooth staircases elegantly leading to the upper floors.
In the middle, reading corners were scattered about, with stone benches and tables to rest upon. The air was heavy with the scent of old wood, stone and parchment.
