It was actually really small—a tiny, single-story apartment with peeling paint near the doorframe and an unlit porch bulb. My heart was hammering violently against my ribs as I stepped onto the porch and knocked twice. The door swung open almost immediately, as if he had been waiting right behind it. Nate stood in the doorway wearing nothing but a soft grey t-shirt and low-slung sweatpants that hung loosely off his hips. His dark hair was messy, and the moment his eyes landed on me, that dangerous, predatory smirk spread across his lips. “Well.. well…’’ he drawled, his voice dripping with amusement. “Look what we have here.”

What Nate found the cutest was that her dominant and pushy personality practically contradicted her five foot four height; she was short, tiny compared to him though. Nate was six foot one, but his hours at the gym toning up all his muscles make him appear a bit taller. Not to mention he purposely always wore shoes with platform to emphasize his height a bit more. But his height was far from his most adored qualities. Nate's entire face had unusual symmetry; his jaw was magnificently sharp, his nose straight and stubby at the end, his thin almond shaped eyes always made him appear mysterious, decorated by his beautiful long eyelashes. His silvery gaze looking out to the south at the darkness there, a sleeping village. "I helped the women in the Southern village plant seed for the coming spring last week. Then I settled a dispute between the males of the Gabil Clan three days ago." Nate told them with a slight shoulder shrug. But from the sadness in his eyes Mantilo knew that his son had more to say on this matter.

Nathan simply smiled at his mum, walking toward her, he kissed her forehead, before resting his against her own. “Relax, mom, we won’t do anything that’s crazy, stupid, or risky” Nathan assured before turning to look at Vitaly “Vitaly, Carter won’t be home tonight, he has a few things to take care of. Mikhail would be here to help if anything is needed, but the pack is in your care”

Never taking anything serious. Little Nate is the youngest at 14. He’s never been the same since our parents. He was always an inquisitive, bubbly boy but when they died, he shut us out. Rarely talks to many people and spends his days going to school then coming home and playing video games. He has started hearing his wolf though so I’m hoping that when he finally shifts it might help him open up more.

Angela ignored her comment and replied dryly. "Whatever," Ginger sashayed towards one of the trial room, making a show of swaying her hips. Angela shook her head. This girl was far beyond her age. "Are you guys still not done?" came Nate's voice. He sounded both shocked and annoyed. Nate had taken after his dad in terms of looks. Features as sharp as his dad and eyes just as captivating. The boy was only 15 and already 6 feet tall and still growing.

Nate said without any expression on his face. Kim looked Nate with confusion, "Why? but you didn't inform her?" he said, keeping eyes on road. Nate's phone buzzed with a message sound. He opened his phone, watching his phone, his eyes glistening in shock and something unreadable, flashing across his face. "Luna sent her number," he said.
