Slowly I close my eyes and everything fades to black. ============================= I jerk up into a sitting position and realize I'm not at my parents house, I've been kidnapped and placed into a dingy room. God, my nightmares will never go away. My parents have literally left memories in my mind that will torment me for the rest of my life. And since I had the nightmare, there is no more sleeping tonight, so I just sit on the cot and slowly rick myself back and forth, letting the tears fall down my cheeks.

Chapter 1 I woke slowly with my head pounding, feeling very disoriented. It was pitch black in my room as I opened my eyes. I reached over to turn my bedroom lamp on, but felt nothing. Where was my lamp? And then it all came back flooding to me. Liam kidnapped. Claire and the pack missing. The imprint.

I arched up my eyebrows at his idea of the game and wondered that whether this all was actually happening or everything was just a beautiful dream. "Mayra I've learned from you that words has enormous power and sometimes few sweet words and a beautiful smile like you can change a nightmare like me. So let's share our stories which were locked in our mind from so long." He suggested but I noticed the sad tone in his voice when he called himself as the nightmare. I held his palm little tightly and tapped my finger softly over it. He sighed deeply.

I can’t believe I gave into this manipulating man last night! The day passes by quickly with the maids bringing in the food for me like they used to. It was almost midnight and I couldn’t sleep because the thought of him radiated in my mind. He was here last night and we both enjoyed the moment and I foolishly thought I would be treated better than before but guess what? I was so wrong! My tears slip down my cheek and I wipe them off harshly but they keep coming back.

She was never going to surrender to him; he bought her, but he couldn't buy her life. She was going to make sure she made his life a living nightmare. She was going to make him regret ever buying her and let her go. Yes, he was going to release her himself when he got tired of her. She grinned; he didn't know what he bought. He had just purchased a nightmare, and that nightmare was hers.

I found myself in an unfamiliar bed, and it jolted me awake. The air was filled with the aroma of food. I looked around and found myself in a clean apartment. My clothes weren't changed, thank goodness. Someone texted me. Samuel. 'Working overtime tonight. Happy Valentine's Day, honey.' I scrolled through TikTok. Samuel probably had no idea that I knew his secret account's details. He had a short uploaded. That bastard was having fun with some ladies. They looked fresh and innocent. He had a good eye for them, I guess.

NADINE My entire sleep was riddled with nightmares of a one-eyed wolf with thinning fur snarling fiercely at me. I was too shocked to move and kept screaming until it was dragged away by a huge wolf and flung into the darkness. The nightmare kept replaying over and over and I had no idea when it stopped.

“Don’t be afraid. Nina will be fine.” Nina and Yvonne slept together that night. Before bed, they drank the calming tea Yvonne had made. It worked well, and they fell asleep quickly. But Nina had another nightmare. In it, many people were crying. The dark room was filled with a heavy scent of blood. There were cries, terrifying laughter, and a ghastly face. Nina woke up in a fright. “Nina, did you have another nightmare?” Yvonne asked. She had heard Nina’s sobbing even before she woke up.

“It’s kind of cute, seeing the nightmare of this school acting like such a puppy.” He pouted. “How did that name even stick to me? I wasn’t even that bad.” “Please.” I rolled my eyes. “I only came to this school a semester ago—how would I know? But according to Eli, you broke a lot of hearts. And, sadly, girls always fall for the bad ones.” I raised my fingers in air quotes. “Not all nightmares are bad, Cross. They called you the nightmare they wouldn’t want to wake up from. Though, honestly, I thought otherwise when I first met you.” I giggled.

I said, brushing away strands of hair from my face. "Nightmares do not make wolves sound like they're dying. This…sounded as though you were fighting for your life. Tell me, what was it?" His expression stiffened as his brows pulled into a frown. I looked at him, but the look in his eyes told me he would not let this go. I sighed and shifted against the bed while he settled beside me. "Would you believe me if I told you some nightmares are memories?” Dominic's brows knitted together in confusion.
