What she did not expect was Leo popping his head in like a lost puppy. He kept badgering Capri about having his number and for her to call or text him. After a while and not giving up she finally sent a message. Hey! Without a name or a reason. She has no idea what to say and did not know why Leo was so Adamant about her calling him. His response was almost instantaneous, what he had to say she had no words for.

Like a snake’s tongue wiggling its way closer to its victims, “And that’s where I come in, my darling.” Grabbing my hand, he lifted it to his mouth and kissed it slowly without breaking eye contact with me. “Let me introduce myself; I am Loki. It is a pleasure to finally meet you, Rosabella, the barbarian princess!”

Loki, Caius, and Stryxx were 3 quarters away from the border between the Rogue's territory to the Old Ones. Chad had reminded them that time passes differently in the Old Lands due to a ever potent spell place by those who came before Anatashi and her motley pack of misfits. "Do you believe this mole is as loyal to Chad as he says?" Stryxx, always, the thunder cloud over everyone's heads. "I believe in Dove and his capabilities to sell just about any plan to even the smartest wolves. I guess he's really Chad's,vrother." Loki mentioned.

After Loki had finished, I shook his hand. "My name is Thor, and it's a pleasure to meet you, Lorenzo," I said briefly before letting go of his hand.

Loki said in a calm tone and deadpan expression that made me swell with anger. "Don't you try to blackmail me, Loki!" I shouted, losing control of my rage. "I would never. I just need you to come to your senses, Blake. Loretta has half of the pack members in her grip. But the Nobles own most of them financially…" "Dad!" Sighing heavily, Loki's expression softened as he said, "With Luna mated to Nero, your chances of running this pack is slim, except you have both the Nobles and me backing you."

"Didn't that seven year old then become your best friend?" "Yeah. Three weeks' after you shouting at him, he actually introduced himself to me. His name was Luca but he left the pack when he was seventeen after he found his mate. I don't know where he is these days," I sighed. I was happy that Luca was living happily somewhere and that he had his mate, he managed to get out before the destruction was upon us. "He's part of Darkness. He's a guard for Alpha James," Link replied and just like that I wasn't so happy that he was alive. "Luca Cooper, right?"
