Danzo’s expression shifted slightly, the smirk softening into something more pensive. I could see the gears turning in his head, calculating whether or not to indulge me. Then, to my surprise, he chuckled—a low, humorless sound that grated against my nerves. “Subordinate?” he repeated, shaking his head. “You’ve got it all wrong. I don’t take orders from anyone.” I raised an eyebrow, forcing myself to appear skeptical. “Oh, really? So you’re just a lone wolf now? All of this—” I gestured to the chaos around us “—was your idea?”

He sweated profusely and shook violently. The man with the glasses was the chief commander of Lilyrose Strategic Department! Draco’s expression turned grim. With murderous intent, he said, “You old dog, you wanted my boss to kneel before you? You are messing with the wrong person.” “What? Boss?” Dane looked at Kaze in disbelief. He could not wrap his head around the situation. By “boss” did he mean the God of War? Impossible! Dane refused to believe it even though it was happening before his eyes.
