I expected fear, but something that looked like excitement flashed through her eyes. We got out of the car and joined the warriors and Liam. Liam was talking to Jake Blackthorn in front of the entrance, although by the way they were standing, it didn’t look friendly. Jake was Garrett Blackthorn’s youngest son and somewhat of a playboy type. For an Alchemist, though, he was actually a pretty decent guy, and I got on with him quite well. Liam, on the other hand, never seemed to like him. Jake turned and saw me and smiled. He started to walk towards me, completely dismissing Liam, who looked furious.

Chapter 157 No one knew how or when it happened, but by the time they reacted, Mr. Grey was crying out loud as his fingers were being broken one by one by Lucas. No one knew how Lucas moved from the place he was standing and reached Mr. Grey. Mr. Grey howled out in pain, “What are you doing? Why are you breaking my fingers?” Still holding Momo’s hand, Lucas leaned over and looked Mr. Grey in the eyes. Mr. Grey felt as if his soul had just left his body, and he did not dare look at Lucas directly.

Jayden's POV. The second that I saw Grey, I felt this rage that I had never experienced in a long time. The last time I was this angry was when Logan tried touching the woman I loved. "You have finally used your real voice. You really fooled me the other time," I snickered bitterly. "I didn't know it would be so easy to fool the king of Lycans. You are more disappointing than I thought. I thought that you would be some powerful person who had greater powers than everyone else, but you ended up being a disappointment," Grey shook his head.

By morning, I was fully healed—thanks to my Alpha abilities—so I retrieved the CCTV footage and gave it to the Dean, ordering him to ensure Lucien Hale was expelled from the college. Knowing Lira quite well, I was sure she won't be able to stay still and watch her dear brother get expelled. I know she would do everything to save him. And that's where I would come in. I would offer that she fall to her knees, return back to being my mate while I still keep Chloe as my whore. Smart, right? Yeah... People say he's extremely dangerous, and he has the looks of a demon. They say he kills in seconds, and he's extremely skilled while fighting. His name alone instills fear in the heart of people. Do you want to invite such kind of a person to the banquet? What if everyone gets frightened to death!” his voice was laced with fear as he stared at Kaiden.

It took a lot of control to push back my Lycaninto the farther part of my mind and take my hand off Jarvis's neck. He fell to the corner, coughing hysterically. I dashed to another corner, controlling my labored breathing. “Who is the girl…?” he asked, between coughs. “Who is she to you? She must mean something for you to wanna kill me so bad.” “I’m sorry. It wasn't me. It was my Lycan..” “That’s even worse.” Jarvis straightened, but still rubbing his sore neck. “WHO IS SHE?” I shook my head, refusing to say anything. But the signs were clear. My Lycan was feeling it just as much as I was. But I didn't wanna admit it just yet. Just until I've spoken with her.

My hands shook as I continued reading, feeling a mix of fear and pity for Atlas. In the journal, Atlas wrote about how he changed into a vampiric lycan during the full moon, becoming stronger than werewolves and vampires combined. He only sought blood and destruction, and he couldn't control it. He wrote about how he had killed his former Luna, Aurora's mother, during one of these episodes. The guilt of his actions had weighed heavily on his conscience ever since.

I could hear Greyson screaming as I started to see black dots around me. I gasped for breath as I was let go, I fell to the wooden floor with a thud and winced as a familiar sharp pain shot through my neck. Another dart. The last thing I saw before darkness took me once again, was a pair of heels walking away and a face I never wanted to see again... Kirk. Authors note: Hi there :) For those of you who have forgotten, Kirk is the rogue wolf. Also was contemplating doing the next chapter from Grayson's perspective... Let me know your thoughts on that and if I should. Otherwise, I will just stick to doing it from Lailas POV, especially since I know I left this on another cliffhanger.. Sorry! :

She smiled and walked off I look back and saw Duncan smiling at something on his phone while Gray, laid his head back on the seat, with earpod connected to his ears, while sleeping with closed eyes Gray is more of an introvert, met him at his lowest, he's like me but he has a sister, I didn't want him to join the gang, but he wanted to….and now he's filthy rich, just like Duncan but they insisted on still working for me, we're more like brothers
