I give him the file, his eyes widening and he laughs. “Don’t, joke.” I can’t do jokes right now. “Okay, so Harry was the boy in school who was seen as the toughest one. He was weak as shit. All the girls wanted to fuck him, but most were disappointed after.” “I don’t care about his fucking habits, Lorenzo. I need to know what sort of person he is.”

Not here. Lorenzo looked exactly as he always did, devastatingly handsome in an expensive charcoal suit that fit his broad shoulders perfectly. His dark hair was slightly mussed, as if he had been running his hands through it, and his jaw was set in that determined way that I had come to recognize meant he wasn't going to back down from whatever he wanted. And right now, what he wanted was clearly answers. Behind him, I could see Eric Blackwell hovering in the hallway, looking uncomfortable but resigned. So Lorenzo had brought backup. Or maybe Eric had come to try to keep his cousin under control. Either way, it didn't matter.

That’s when Lorenzo came out of the woods. And Lorenzo is a fucking monster. We are all big wolves. But Lo makes about three of a regular werewolf. Plus he’s pitch black.. with glowing red eyes. He looks like pure evil coming at you.

Cold gray eyes swept over the scene like a storm calculating landfall. He looked first at her bleeding lip. Then at Victor. The air changed. “Was this part of the bridal preparation?” Lorenzo asked, voice so smooth it could slice skin. “Because I don’t recall violence being listed in the dowry.” Victor straightened instantly, like a soldier caught slacking by his general. “I wasn’t expecting you.” Lorenzo ignored him. His attention shifted to Aria. His gaze was sharp, penetrating, like he was dissecting her from the inside out.

"Lorenzo." Lorenzo smiled rolling his eyes. "How do you always know it's me?" He asked walking in the room pulling a chair from the corner of the room and sat down. Bonnie just shook her head, lowering her head. Embarrassed to admit that she has memorised his scent. Cigarettes, that she still wants to know the name of and cologne with a hint of mint on his breath. Lorenzo's striking blue eyes switched to Grace. "How are you?" He asked. Grace nodded, "I'm alright, just a little tired." She said.

My eyes darted everywhere, looking for the captor. As if on cue, the sound of the main door opening and closing reverberated throughout the empty and dead house. My eyes focused on the foyer as Lorenzo came into my view. He was dressed in a clean black suit, his dark hair perfectly combed, and his shoes shined. If you look at this man in the outside world, you'd never expect that a man this prim and proper could be a heartless monster from the inside. His eyes met with mine and my breath got caught in my throat.

And I seriously didn’t have any idea of what was happening. I turned around with an attempt to run out only to run smack dab into a wall of muscles. The fresh scent of rain forest and musk engulfed my senses, causing me to take a huge gulp and slowly looked up. “Nice to see you, Tesoro.” Lorenzo stood in front of me in a black dress shirt that had two top buttons undone. The shirt was tugged neatly into his pants with a belt secured tightly on his lean waist. His hands were stuffed into the pockets of his black slacks and he looked yummy.
