Who's the One Regretting Now?

Who's the One Regretting Now?

Sharon grunted in pain and continued through the sobs, "But it was Macie who made me do it. She doesn't love you anymore. She wanted a divorce, but you refused. She had no choice but to come to me for help. "I swear. I wasn't hiding anything from you. She made me promise not to tell you. "I'm her friend. I had to help her, Ed. I had to…" "Bullshit! She loves me and would never ask for a divorce," Edward shouted. He continued, "You're the one who drove a wedge between us. It's you who tricked me into signing the divorce agreement. That divorce means nothing." Edward couldn't take it anymore. He couldn't wait until tomorrow for her to leave. So, he stormed into Sharon's room and started hurlin

Godiva
Dear author, Please do not abandon this story; it is very interesting. Sharon needs to be captured and held accountable for her evil deeds just like Raymond. I do feel sorry for Edward knowing how repentant he is for his past ill treatment of Macie, but he has to bear the consequences.

So interesting! I hope Macie doesn’t end up with Edward, but with Sean. I think it subverts a lot of the BAD writing in a lot of stories like this— for example, his domestic abuse isn’t brushed aside, she calls the POLICE when his obsessive behavior escalates, etc. 9.5/10

Where Freedom Begins

Where Freedom Begins

"Oh, Mr. Armstrong, it seems you can't handle the truth. I meant what I said. Anyway, whether you sign or not, I'm getting this divorce." As I walked out of his office, I turned back one last time. "Chandler, don't think for a second that I can't live without you." His fingers turned white as he stared at the divorce papers on the desk, as if trying to burn a hole through them with his gaze. His expression was cold and angry. As I left the office, Karen walked toward me. "Ms. Elledge, let's talk." "I don't have anything to say to you." Karen chuckled. "Oh, come on. Don't you want to know how Chandler and I got together?"

Our Marriage, Divorce and Love

"No, Copeland snatches it away every chance I think I might have." "I hate to tell you this, but if you don't give it all you got, you will always regret it. Once you give all you got, and if you want to come home and stay with me, you can. I'll be waiting for you. I love you, Tameka." "I love you too, mom. I've decided to sign the divorce papers and leave this house for good. I'll call you tomorrow."

Pregnant Luna - Lawful Rebellion

Pregnant Luna - Lawful Rebellion

His hands were still on my waist, his forehead resting against mine. "Lila," he whispered, his breath shaky. "I love you." I closed my eyes as tears spilled down my cheeks. "I know," I whispered back. "I love you too." But love wasn't enough to fix this. Love wasn't going to stop the divorce. Love wouldn't save us from the choices we had already made. I stepped back. Cast's hands dropped to his sides. "This isn't over," I whispered. "I know," he replied. But it felt like the end, like we had reached the point of no return.

Married with the Brokenhearted CEO

I answered then signaled the bartender to go away. The bartender gave me an awkward smile before he stepped out of the counter and left the two of us alone. “Because you are a real idiot,” Edward murmured. He leaned closer and spoke in a low tone. “If you really love your wife, why would you like to divorce her?” “Because it is tiring.” “What tiring?” “Pretending.” “Pretending what? Tell me in complete sentence, dude. I really hate how you always love to answer small words instead of saying it in a whole paragraph.”

After Pretending to Be Blind

After Pretending to Be Blind

The atmosphere suddenly turned silent with everyone keeping their mouth shut. A second later, Edward stammered as he gripped hard on the divorce papers. "W-What are you talking about? Divorce?!" His tone turned shrill at the last word. Ivana's eyes brightened while Evan said nothing. They looked on expectantly as Edward's voice became louder. "Impossible! I won't agree to this!" Before Ivana could react, Edward knelt in front of me. "This is my fault, Summer. I don't want a divorce! I'll break up with her right now!"

Alpha, I'm No Longer Yours.

Alpha, I'm No Longer Yours.

The words slice so deep I swear I feel them physically. Something dark curls up inside me. Cold. Pulsing. Hungry. I turn and stalk out of the office, slamming the door behind me so hard the walls tremble. I barely make it to my own room before the first sob rips out of my throat — but it’s not grief that rises up… it’s rage. Hot and vicious. How can he still loves her after all these years? My hands curl around the divorce papers until the edges cut my skin. Fine.

Chasing Love After Divorce

Chasing Love After Divorce

LEXI I have been pushed to the wall, and since there was no way to go anymore, I had no choice but to turn against them, Ryan especially. He dared call my treasure a bastard just because of the bitch he called a lover. He already gave me these divorce papers two months ago, but I refused to sign them because I thought we could work things out. I thought we could work. I thought he would learn to love. But it seemed that was never going to come true. He has been so blinded by Jasmine's love that he couldn't even see his own daughter. I did all I could, but he never let us work out, and I am done sulking over spewed milk.

After Divorce: Loved by the Secret Billionaire CEO

After Divorce: Loved by the Secret Billionaire CEO

"You heard her; she's the one I love. I was going to have you sign the divorce papers today." My head began to spin. Divorce? "No... No... We can't divorce; we've been together for 10 years, David. We only got married three years ago, and you're choosing her over me." The tears I've been trying hard to keep inside me began rolling down my eyes like a damn water fountain. David got up from the bed wearing only his briefs and went to a table by the corner to pick up some papers, which he threw at me. "Now that you're here, it only makes this more easy. Sign this and we're over."
