The Pup's Midnight Vampire
I can see that caterpillar up on the leaf,* she shouts, excitedly.
She stops and lifts one of her paws to point and in the blink of an eye, Javed seems to follow exactly what she’s looking at. He then shoots to the tree, scoops up the critter and presents it to her. She cocks her head to the side and snubs her nose.
“Yeah, that’s what I thought,” Javed says, with a smile. I barely register that he puts it back and Lucy is off again trotting happily.
She stops abruptly when she comes to some animal poop, I inwardly make a face but she studies it. A turd is a turd, and I’d rather not get up close and personal.
