They were brainless creatures driven only by the instinct to kill, but recent changes suggested someone had found a way to manipulate them. One day, I noticed groups of pups playing in the territory's center, a safe area where causing trouble could be a death wish. "Hi, Luna," the pups greeted, bowing slightly in respect. They were adorable. "Hello," I returned their greeting, and they surrounded me, wanting to play. Since I had completed my work and responsibilities for the week, I joined them. I loved pups. They were young and innocent werewolves, and part of me wished they would never grow up to face the harsh realities of our world, where we constantly battled rogues and hunters.
