It was a cloak—thick, warm, and finely crafted, dyed the deep silver-grey of the Blood Moon colors.
Embroidered across the back in black and crimson thread was the sigil of the pack: a full moon cradled by the wings of a wolf.
My breath caught.
"This is yours now," he said, his fingers brushing mine as he handed it to me. "As Luna, you carry our crest. Our blood. Our honor."
I ran my hand over the smooth fabric, overwhelmed.
"I don’t know if I deserve this yet," I said, voice trembling.
Alexandro’s hand lifted, his knuckles grazing my cheek in a gesture so tender it stole the breath from my lungs.
