CHAPTER 41 LAST DAY OF SHOOT, FLASHBACK, EVENING LOU After of various shots, everyone decided to have a dinner first so we can shoot later continuously. We just finished eating and we’re hopping in the night market of the place. I have already bought different goodies that I will give to my family and relatives. I saw Gio who was holding a merchandise shirt with a print of ‘City of Strangers’ in front of it. “Is it good?” He asked me while holding it. I looked at the shirt and examine it. The fabric is good with its price. I love the minimalist design. It’s new and refreshing to the eyes unlike the traditional merchandise shirts with big logos on them.

Lucas exclaimed, holding up a bright pink shirt with a garish floral pattern. Adelaide raised an eyebrow. "Lucas, you can't seriously be considering buying that, can you?" Lucas nodded enthusiastically. "Why not? It's perfect for our next luau-themed party!" Adelaide chuckled. "We don't even have a backyard, Lucas. Where are we going to have a luau?" Lucas grinned. "Details, details. I'll figure it out. But first, I need to buy this shirt." Adelaide shook her head, laughing. "You're impossible, Lucas."

Her green eyes roamed over Lydia as she exclaimed, “Oh my God!” Lydia stifled a laugh; she knew her mom would soon comment on her beauty and how she would sweep every male off their feet that evening. It was clear that Lydia resembled her mother, both standing tall and slender, with curves that could captivate anyone. “WHERE ARE MY CLOTHES?!” “Whatever do you mean, brother? How would I know? Aren’t those shirts right there?” She said, pointing at the open luggage and feigning innocence. The shirts are in neon colors: pink, green, orange, and yellow. Jude picks up one of the shirts, and the logo reads, ‘GIRLS WANNA HAVE FUN!’ Then he picks up another one, and it has a teddy bear riding a unicorn. Not to mention, they all look a size too small.

Back in Mane’s room, Sunflower was lying prone on the bed wearing nothing but a large black T-shirt. The size of the attire suggested that it wasn’t hers but was likely Mane’s. But since she was wearing it now, Mane could probably say goodbye to it. For there was no way he was getting it back, and events of the past had proven that retrieving any of his own clothing articles from Sunflower was akin to fighting a Battle God. “I thought he said he would only be out for a couple of hours?” Sunflower furrowed her lovely eyebrows with slight concern showing on her face.

Kaira said handing me an outfit that was neatly folded. "What's that?" I asked taking it. "it's a chitenge shirt. Mel will be wearing the same thing. In a dress ofcourse," I unfolded it and it was a light blue traditional shirt with white designs that looked like flowers and also had wavy white lines in between the flowers. There were some specks of orange in between the white lines. "Wear it and let's see if it fits!" I wore it and it fit me like it was just made for me,

“I’m fine.” I rapidly got up handing him the few clothes I had managed to pick up. He let out a smile before gently taking them from my hands and placing them back inside his blue basket. “Nice shoes” he said out of the blue. His sentence brought a flush to my cheeks as I slid my shoes back underneath my long dark green skirt which had sunflowers on it. I had gotten this shirt during the # save sunflower campaign which was led by a few elder women from the Rino Street.

Gary asked as a change of subject while munching on some sour grapes. "I'm going with this semi-formal design," Lily replied, lifting her sketch pad for him to see. Lily's sketch showed a cool semi-formal outfit made just for a guy. The shirt was made from a smooth and shiny silk-satin mix that looked both fancy and comfy. Its deep blue colour added a cool vibe, and the way the light bounced off the fabric made it stand out. The shirt was sewn to fit perfectly, with clean lines and a modern cut that would make anyone look good.
