She shook her head, waving the idea off with a casual gesture of her hand. “I’m fine. Anyway, did you want a briefing on what we found? I was going to prep. a full intelligence document first thing in the morning, but I can tell you what we found out.” It didn’t seem fair to tell her I was just here because I’d been worried about her. A maid peeked in nervously. “My king… my Luna… Lycan Rowan is here. He requests to see her.”

"Mara has been a wonderful Luna so far, despite the ups amd downs she managed to keep going... The attention that came my way make my cheeks turn pink. His words made me smile and I wasn't feeling the cold that made me wear the jacket this morning, so I decided to stand and remove the jacket. As I did people looked in my direction to stop my hand from shaking I grabbed my drink and too a sip, staring at Rhys with adoration. "So it's with a heavy heart I say this... Mara is no longer our Luna since she couldn't complete the task of being pregnant" The drink I held slipped through my hands crashing into a million pieces alongside my heart. I froze in place as I stared at Rhys who kept speaking

Amelia rolled her eyes at him. “ It's still the same thing as a wedding”. “ It's not”, Amelia stubbornly said, but she could not keep the wide smile off her face. Her heart was almost bursting with joy, "You humans can get separated after marriage, but we werewolves….”. Lucas placed his lips over hers and swallowed her words, “I accept to be mates with you, little woman”. He murmured against her lips. **** Mia stood in front of her full-length mirror in Adrian's room and pushed her hair aside to see what was on her neck. What greeted her was a glaring tooth mark.

“Its nothing, darling. Mommy just saw something really shocking but everything is okay, darling. You should go wait for me in the room..we are having a shower together soon..” “A shower? Please don't tell me you just came up with that,” he jested. “It won't be a bad idea to have one now…cause what is this I am hearing? All these while, Luke and Quentin were fighting each other over some cover up which we thought could be Quentin's idea, it was all …..what did you call his name again?!” “Does Luke know about this yet?” “Not yet…but I would give him a call right after…..” Mara said and paused.

Mara often stayed silent during those moments, listening to the tiny sleepy sounds from the baby and the low hum of Kenny’s voice. Everything felt unreal, especially because Mara had spent most of her life feeling unwanted. Especially after losing her sight. People either pitied her or ignored her completely. But here… Someone always reached for her. Especially Braine. “You’re awake already?” Braine’s sleepy voice complained as she entered the room without knocking. Mara smiled faintly from the bed. “You said you were going shopping today.” “I know,” Braine groaned dramatically. “But I can’t leave the house without seeing my nephew.”

"your mate has been dead long ago, why don't you try begging the moon goddess to mate you once again. You know it's difficult to live alone" Lara, a member of the rogue pack and his best friend suggested him. Marcellus looked at her and then sighed. Lucas goes to the pantry and returns with some meat. He sets it on the counter and starts to carve. There comes a knock at the cabin door. "Are you expecting company?" "No." He goes over and answers it. There is a woman there. She peers straight past him. Straight at me. "I thought I saw you talking to someone outside," she says to Lucas. She barges past him into the cabin. "Who is she?" she demands. I stand and face her. "I am Marla," I say. "Marla?" she asks. "There is no Marla in our pack."
