I said, escaping from our conversation. “Good luck, Frank! May the force be with you,” she laughed again, waving her hand and sitting in her chair to begin checking Sky’s schedule for tomorrow. “Star Wars marathon?” I asked as she loved to do a movie marathon with her husband. She rolled her eyes. “Starting from the Phantom Menace, but we can learn from Anakin, you know.” I raised my eyebrows, silently asking her what it could be and wanting to tell her we could learn more from Yoda than from him.

Kai – POV Waking up next to Leia was an indescribable sensation. My heart was buoyed by her presence and a recent encounter in the soul realm with my late father. He had given me sage advice: cherish every moment with Leia and always be there for Xavier. My bond with both Leia and Xavier was irreplaceable. As these thoughts swirled, I gently caressed Leia's cheek. She opened her sleepy eyes, and our lips met in a brief, tender kiss.

Luke immediately stepped in front of Lily. "What is going on?" Nobody answered. Because they were all looking at her. Not fearfully. Carefully. As though examining a puzzle piece they had overlooked for too long. Lily looked shaken. Confused. Angry. "Stop doing that." Her voice echoed through the observatory. "Stop looking at me like that." The room remained silent. Then Elias whispered: "The first universe." The grieving being slowly nodded. Mira closed her eyes. Luke's pulse quickened. "What about it?"

It was touching his shoulder. I looked at the film. The robot was doing something brave and sad, and I retained absolutely none of it. Halfway through the second act, Lucas woke up, decided he needed water, untangled himself from both of us with complete disregard for the spatial arrangements he had created, and disappeared to the kitchen.

Jackson replied. I took a deep breath, "Oh I know, I wasn't expecting them to go that hard so soon." I said. "Well, you know Ambrosia. She never slows down for too long. She is just trying to bring out the best side of Leia that she possibly can." Jackson replied. "I know she is but I hope they know they can't just beat the crap out of each other." I said, making Jackson laugh. "Yeah I think they learned their lesson. I have to run though, I'll see you at the meeting." Jackson replied before the line went dead. Alright so she was at home, I checked the time and I had enough to get over there and visit for a moment before I had to do everything else. "Want to stretch your legs a little bit?"

But Leia holds up a gentle hand, and slowly I sink back into my chair, understanding. He will come when he is ready. Or rather, I will go after him once he has had a while to sit with himself. I stay there with Leia and Mara after Luke has gone upstairs to speak with his mother. It is strange the way the circumstances bring everyone together. Leia and Mara grin widely as they regale me with tales of some of their most haphazard family vacations when Professor Harlan was… Ben. When he was only a child.

I try to dwell on it but my stomach grumbles again. I'll just find my way. As I reach the stairs, my ears tingle at the sound of voices. I halt at the top staircase. The living room, once decorated with bright lights and fancy tables, has now been restored to its former look. With the lights dim and the moon being the only luminous body, I listen for familiarity of the voices. “Well, there goes partnership with the Hawkins,” Luke says, his voice laced with disappointment. Who is he talking to? I crouch down, my ears heightening.
