Lurch Mga Nobela at Kwento

I pushed Rhea to the back of my mind, I blocked off the guilt and attempted to move forward to my Lyra. Attempted because as soon as the cars started moving it stopped, we were all halted by the loud growl coming from a car at the front. It was a loud shout, something akin to the guttural sound a werewolf makes when their bones break and reconstructs itself right before we transform. It was feral enough to bring an array of eager drivers to a halt.

Just a business man with a soul that was probably just cigarettes and nightly stock reports. “Iris?” My head moved up from my book, “I’m going to pass out soon,” I knew why, “That’s fine,” I replied, “How long until we get to-” “We’re going to the Maldives. We’ll be landing in Sri-” A yawn rang out, “Lanka and then directly to some private island.” I felt my chest rise, “Wake me up when we get…” He trailed off his head lulling as he slumped further in his seat.

The witches closed in, their laughter echoing like a chorus of nightmares. Something inside Aqua snapped. A surge of dark energy, unfamiliar and terrifying, welled up within her. She felt her pendant grow hot against her skin, the clear crystal turning black as smoke. The air around her crackled with raw power as she turned back towards the attackers, her fear morphing into a blinding rage.

Howard waved him off before continuing, “I heard you talking about the old hag who took Miss Norris. I happen to know something about it.” “Huh?” All three of them turned to look at him. Howard said, “When I was helping to cure Mr. Yardley from the venom, I found out that it was the venom of the Nefarious Roach.” “Venom of the Nefarious Roach?” Finn and Iris looked bewildered. It was the first time they had heard about this. Chase cut in, “The Nefarious Roach is a low-level spiritual beast. It’s shaped like a little green snake and is very agile in movement. It understands human speech and its venom is particularly lethal. It would cause instant death for an ordinary man with one touch.”

I promised. On my third week in the Manor, I decided I felt brave enough to take things one step further with my invisible roommates. I downloaded a free app, said to use the phone mic to detect ghostly sounds and turn them into words from a word bank, one at a time. It was a simpler, cheap version of the Ovilus, one of those crazy-expensive cutting-edge devices ghost hunters used.

[LILA] Lila races through the dense forest, her paws striking the earth with relentless speed. The world around her is a blur, the scents of moss and bark barely registering as she focuses solely on the chase. Ahead, the blue-eyed wolf’s scent grows fainter, but Lila pushes herself harder, determined to close the distance. Her instincts scream at her to catch up, to protect, to keep the young wolf within her reach.

a chirpy high pitched voice caused Trix to flinch. She stared into the milky mix and I could have sworn it sparkled. "Thanks," she said, blinking back her delusion when she realized that it was just the ice. "You okay, everyone's been looking for you," Sierra asked, writing something on her notepad. Trix furrowed her brows confused. Her voice held no interest in Trix's well being. A car alarm went off in the parking lot. She turned just in time to meet the eyes of a feline walking by. She was so confused. She turned to Sierra in time to see her stuff something into the little pocket in her apron.

The temperature got lower and lower that his wolf family picked up on the changes before he did and started howling. Alpha, Luka’s wolf peeked his ears listening, sniffing, and trying to feel what his family was feeling. When he concentrated, he picked up on the change in weather and started pacing looking around. He thought the tornado was back and was trying to see where it was coming from. But he could not see it but then it got dark by the clearing making Luka and his family stand side by side so that they can face the enemy in the dark together.

Then she saw the leurcher. Two long, gnarled legs stepped out of the undergrowth. Topped with pincers and oddly headless, the front of the leurcher alone was enough to make Lily’s stomach turn. As it scented her, gill-like protrusions down its legs flaring, it flapped its tail, the end of it so weighted down by the pincer adorning it that it struggled to raise it from the mossy ground.

Her index finger snapped against her lips, delivering a silent, absolute command for total vocal lockdown. My beast felt thoroughly slighted, my jaw opening to launch a verbal protest, but Laney’s palm clamped over my mouth with crushing force. ‘Cease your noise. My tracking senses have isolated an active hunt behind our perimeter.’ Laney’s gaze thrown back through the rear viewing glass verified the calculation. Precisely as her instincts predicted, three unbranded black transport wagons were maintaining a tight tracking distance, hovering merely dozens of meters behind our rear bumper. My brow furrowed as my vision mirrored her line of sight. My fingers pried her palm away from my lips as
