Intentionally, I let my shoes hit the floors in a loud manner while I make my way to the king sized bed as to gain his attention. But much to my demise, the frame on the bed remains unmoving. "Greetings, your majesty, the Lycan King. I, the Luna of Lumina would like to have a word with you." Even at my introduction, I got nothing as a result. His breathing remains calm and undisturbed. "You could easily be killed this way, your highness." I whispered while making my way closer to the left of the bedside. I couldn't get a clear view of his face since he's facing the balcony windows and once I did, I stopped dead on my tracks.

She turned the side of her neck to show me a mark and my eyes opened when I saw it was a bit similar to mine, but mine was shinier and more precise. Wait, did she say werewolves? Wolf? I touched the mark, causing me to shiver and she nodded at me with a serious but kind look. “You are the Luna. You are Alpha Enzo’s mate.” What? Norman bent his neck towards me and Corey did the same, with Davina and Andrè. I stared confused and lost, it is when a loud giggle was released from across the fields and everyone’s head raised that I realized it was from me.

Nothing would stop me now. As I left their room, I took one last glance at their peaceful faces. "Goodnight, my loves," I whispered. "I promise you, everything will be alright." Lydia said. He turned instantly, a flash of relief crossing his face. “Lydia.” She stepped beside him and slid her hand into the crook of his arm. “Sorry I’m late.
