She guessed it was more for the light than the heat, and maybe for cooking. The bubbling gold liquid in her mug looked a little like beer, but with a much thinner, almost nonexistent head, more like champagne. As she lifted it to her lips, she smelled a faint, sweet fragrance that somehow seemed familiar, yet different. She tried to place the scent, but the answer eluded her. Here's to another new experience, she thought as she took a small sip. The brew tasted sweet and refreshing. She followed the sip with a much bigger swallow. “This stuff is pretty good,” she said, smiling. “What's it made of?” “Honey,” Balin replied.

In the sand three large ports with high necks were sitting. “Two cups please, one with honey” Tenac told the man, giving him some coins. The man poured dark brown liquid from one of the pots in to two metal mugs. To one he added honey and let a small piece of honeycomb float in the mug. Tenac took the cups from the man and nodded to Mary in a direction. Mary saw some benches in that direction and went over to them, followed by Tenac. “Thank you” she said as he handed her the cup with the honeycomb. She smelled the liquid. It smelled like nothing she had smelled before. A bitter, rich, smell with a hint of honey. She sipped it and couldn’t quite decide if she liked it or not.

She found the tree with the white flowers and asked in a whisper, “Eldora, how many of these flowers would I need if I need to expel poison from someone?” She heard the response, although it was a faint whisper “Depends on the poison.” “I don’t know the poison.” Mira pouted, her head lowered feeling miserable. “No more than 30 at a time.” Eldora’s apparition appeared before Mira “The honey can be preserved if the bottle is covered with the soil from space for a week.” Eldora spoke as made a paste with soil on the ground taking water from the pond nearby and extended the ball of wet soil towards Mira “Coat the outside of the bottle with this.”

“I can do sweet.” “Really?” The thunder from the last lighting finally rumbled. The storm was still several miles away. “Give me a sample of sweet.” “Sugar,” he said in a dark, silky voice. He wasn’t even looking at her. With nothing but his voice, he was melting her bones. If she didn’t get him up to her room— “Maple syrup.” Shannon blinked. “Huh?” “Honey. You wanted sweet, I’m giving you sweet. Chocolate cake.

I stepped on one leg while I let the other one up so I won't walk on it. I looked out of the small window but I couldn't find anything or anyone. So I went back and sat on the mattress, after a few minutes the door cracked open and there she was, the same girl I quickly got up on my feet. She had beautiful hazel eyes that reminded me..of Juial. She held a cup of water while the other one with a small piece of bread handed it to me and ordered me to drink and eat it.

Especially over a cup of tea. “It’s royal honey made from wild bees,” he replied. “Do you like it?” I took another sip. “It’s too sweet.”
