The Child They Got Wrong: Madness Ensues

The Child They Got Wrong: Madness Ensues

All the blood drained from Jasper's face as he stared fixedly at the cufflinks in Gabe's hands. Jasper had personally pinned those cufflinks on Lucas' sleeves last year. They were engraved with Lucas' initials—LL. There were no other cufflinks like this one anywhere else in the world. Jasper's body began trembling uncontrollably. His mouth moved, but not a single sound came out. He turned around and stared at the animal feeder again, watching as the white mice tore into the charred bits of flesh.

How the Tables Turn

How the Tables Turn

“Dude’s got a freak memory. Probably knows everyone’s.” But Colton looked at Micah a second longer and thought yeah your probably right he does have freakish memory he probably remembers what I had for lunch last week, they all laughed including Micah. The study session buzzed with low conversation, rustling notes, and Ellise lecturing someone for using Comic Sans in their slide deck. Amelia sat on the couch, half-tuned out. Her iced lavender matcha sat on the coffee table in front of her—sweating slightly, condensation forming a neat ring around the cup.

Hotter Than Hell

Hotter Than Hell

“I don’t really know why the fuck I’m here. I owe you a debt and the club will pay it—” Moon enters while I’m talking and he interrupts. “I think it’s the other way around,” he says. I stand up and shake his outstretched hand. Madison—she prefers to be called Mak—follows and ignores my hand and pulls me in for a hug. Moon’s lips curl slightly, which is about as close to a smile as he gives. An older Spanish woman walks in and rests four bottles of water on the table before turning on her heels and walking out. Before we can settle at the table the woman is back carrying a tray filled half with vegetables and half with small sandwiches. She snaps something in Spanish at Gomez and he rolls his

Absolutely amazing read! Great reader captivation, there seems to actually be a quality editorial team proofreading this novel. I highly recommend it to anyone on this app! To date it is the only novel I've paid to read and I've been using the app for the better part of 6months.

When I'm Not the Madre

When I'm Not the Madre

Can't you just behave? Sofia leaned weakly against Vincenzo's chest and let out a few soft coughs before saying weakly, "Vincenzo, don't be mad. Isabella is just heartbroken. Why don't I talk to her properly and have her go back to rest?" As soon as her words fell, a deafening explosion erupted, shaking the entire dock violently. The searchlights overhead swayed precariously. From the nearby containers that hadn't yet fully collapsed came the piercing screech of twisting metal, and a massive sheet of metal hurled straight toward the three of them.

Bully stepbrother

Bully stepbrother

I pause, taking in every detail of it. “I just want to be anywhere you are. I don’t want to miss any chance. I want to make up for all my mistakes—the saddest times I’ve drowned us in, the times when I punished us instead of allowing us to feel what truly lives inside us.” At first, Mad seems temporarily inactivated while I desperately wait for an answer. Briefly, her tongue wets her lips before she begins, “I want the same too, but Caden, this is crazy.” “We’ve been crazy since the first day,” I point out.

I loved this book, although Caden was such a jerk, after getting into it and realizing why his character was like that, it made a lot of sense. I'm so glad I came across this book, it's one I would read over and over again. Author, you did an overall excellent job, I hope to read more from you soon.

Caden makes me so angry. I genuinely hate him. Love the main character though. Very good writing, I wish our main character could find someone who doesn’t give in so easily or like if our main character could have pepper spray or something to stand up to him.

Mad in the Horde

Mad in the Horde

The armored vehicle was drowned out by tens of thousands of zombies. The monsters were squeezing and crashing against the defensive layers. The concussion grenade incessantly let off maddening noises, causing the zombies to be in a constant state of frenzy. The safe and wide space in the vehicle was now hell on earth. Jasmine covered her ears. She shouted hysterically, her body tumbling alongside the violently shaking vehicle, "Jason, you absolute b*stard! Turn this bloody thing off!" Her exquisite makeup was ruined and twisted by sweat and fear.

MAD OVER YOU

MAD OVER YOU

“I'll be waiting.“ My gaze followed Zagreb as he took his leave. I pulled out a bottle of water from within my desk, twisted its cap open, and gulped down its contents. It was a ritual I often did when I was anxious. “Are you anxious?“ a familiar voice asked. Even if I was asleep, I would have been able to recognize that voice. My whole body tensed as Aiden's face came into view. Today, he was dressed in a gray shirt again and dark blue jeans. “We don't have a session today,“ my voice came out barely above a whisper. “I'm not here for a session,“ Aiden revealed, taking slow but deliberate steps toward me. “I'm here to remind you of whom you belong to.“ Before I could wrap my head around what

Moon Madness

"I'm going to live in debt." Tara crosses her arms. "You're being dramatic." Alpha Marcus closes the folder slowly. "...No live animals." Tara sighs dramatically. "Fine." Hunter looks relieved for exactly two seconds. Then Tara brightens. "But the chocolate fountain stays." Hunter drops his forehead onto the table. Ryan claps. "This is the greatest ceremony planning meeting in pack history." Alpha Marcus starts walking out of the room, shaking his head. "I'm not approving the bees." From the table, Hunter mutters weakly:

Impossible Mates

Impossible Mates

We chat for a second as a guy passes me a drink, I was so stupid to take it from him but at the time I wasn't thinking. After about an hour I felt so sick and dizzy I was just falling around, I've drunk before but I've never felt like this, the guy from before just kept giving me more and more drinks which just made me feel even worse. I slowly walk over to the edge of the party my mind just everywhere "I'm taking us to mate right now," Sky says as I nearly fall to the floor, my body starts doing its own weird thing taking me over to the house I look up and see Ryan, my body walking straight over to him.

AFTER NIGHT FALLS

AFTER NIGHT FALLS

Soon, the news ended and the hall went quiet, with all the council members, staring at Lord Ericson, who seemed to be deep in thought. “This,” one of them, a female began. “This is bullshit! What does the human race think of us? We are not dogs!” She yelled as she banged her fist on the table so hard that it shook and even the castle seemed to vibrate from her sheer power. The only reason the table didn’t collapse was because it wasn’t made out of wood but a special type of rock. “Calm down lady Mira.” A male spoke as he glanced at her and then at the spot she had banged with her fist. He noticed the dent she had created on the table and shook his head. “We should be looking for a solution—”
