Helena replied, looking a bit troubled. “The castle you see before you is Castle Mist. As you are all aware, magic has long left this world. There were once great monuments that housed even greater magic. Most have faded, the magic within their walls dying out. This castle is one of the last great monuments left.” Day continued, “All twenty of you will have the option to enter this castle. You may choose to stay behind; none will think less of you. Those who do choose to enter, fair warning.” Day took a step back, letting Night take the reins. His midnight hair was pulled back at the nape, his suit glittering with a million little stars.

Amy
Such a well written book and the story really drags you in, I’ve enjoyed reading this so much and hope a sequel comes out. I really feel this book should be printed, I’d read it over and over again. The book is long but it’s well worth it.
Therese Dahlqvist
The author has a fantastic ability to keep me on the edge of my seat and a great ability to describe the scenery around the characters. I find the characters to be mostly well defined and consistent throughout the book. There are some typos and incorrect grammar, but not enough to disturb me complet

I nodded shyly as if I agreed with what he had said. He stared at me for a moment and sighed. He lowered the goblet containing an expensive wine that could be equivalent to one month's supply of our food at home. "It's okay if you want to keep your identity. Your name here is Magda? It's cool anyway." he complimented. "You know what, Magda, you have the vibe of a person I've been searching for for so long." he shared. I gulped after hearing it. Is he talking about the person he's been searching for for so long is... me?

Moonlit Magic

Moonlit Magic

The girls had chosen this spot for its energy—a natural convergence point where the earth’s magic pooled like water. Freda lit the black candles with a whispered word, their flames burning unnaturally blue. Pru scattered a circle of salt mixed with crushed obsidian, the grains glittering like crushed stars. Rita laid out the parchment—yellowed with age, borrowed from Gogo’s private stash—and the silver dagger, its blade etched with runes. "Ready?" Freda asked. Rita nodded. Pru grinned.

From Maid to Madre

From Maid to Madre

Muse Club, a top-tier playground for the wealthy, had been rented out for the night. Sensual lights flickered, and DJ music blared deafeningly. Lucia wore a bachelorette queen's sash and stood in the center of the dance floor, dancing passionately and soaking up the cheers and adoration. "Let's toast to the future Madre!" "The Principessa is so lucky. That Underboss is the most untouchable man in this city, and you still landed him!"
