" Mage giggled, looking under the covers at her nude body. She wiggled slightly but felt no pain. As expected, Leo had been gentle and careful not to hurt her. She wished she actually remembered what happened though. All she could remember was the club, the dance floor, and his fingers. She blushed, biting her lip. She cackled crazily and pulled the blanket over her head, snuggling back in the bed. "He loves me." she sqeaked. She giggled again, kicking her feet under the blanket. Mage believed everything Leo had said to her. She believed they had made love and that he would marry her. She thought she had finally won. Mage's world would soon come crashing down.

She tilts her head and grins at me with her perfect teeth. -Have I ever told you how hot I think scars are?- Maggie says through the mind link "Uh no, I don't believe you have" -Oh well, remind me to tell you someday. Her eyes widened a moment before she turned away. At least now I understood the game, to a degree. After that, I didn't miss a ball and by the time class had ended, each team won a game. When class was over, I followed the others toward the locker room. Abby was talking to a friend, and I didn't want to interrupt. Troy jogged over. "You're a fast learner, Jack. You spiked that ball almost better than me." He gave me a fifty-megawatt smile. "Thanks." I wanted to find out more about him? Obviously, he possessed one of the seven magics, but which one?

It was enough to destroy the opponent's medallion. His third game had been against an orange-dressed Thundermage, which had been a tedious battle. Thundermages were immune to fire, and Firemages were immune to thunder. The result was a long-winded battle where direct magical attacks were not an option. Akana was forced to improvise, which he thanked the Diplomacy for having included as it normally wasn't his strong suit. Akana had directed a fireball just in front of the Thundermage's feet. The explosion sent the mage into the wall that surrounded the contestants. The damage had been moderately large as the medallion had been destroyed, and he had won his third victory.

“You’re seriously messing with me, ain’t you?” System: “…” Byul glanced at Hassan and then asked the system. “Let me see his stats.” The system beeped and the screen displayed Hassan’s profile and skill section. [Duke Hassan Level 5 Ability: None Status; jiangshi (rare) Attack +10 Defense +50] Byul widened his eyes as he stared at the stats section. Look at that defense! Is that the reason he’s not burning from the sun anymore?! Byul chuckled and look at Hassan with a proud expression on his face.

Rina spat her words like fire. “This child is not for you. Not for Rowland. Not for your evil games.” Maggie’s laugh was sharp. “Keep dreaming. Soon you will realize no one believes you. Soon your cries will mean nothing. And I will watch as your spirit breaks.” Rina shook with rage and fear. “Get out. Leave me. I will not hear your lies.” Maggie rose, her eyes gleaming with malice. “You will hear more. You can't even control the things that I will say to you.”

Athea screamed and left while pushing the wheelchair for her sister. "The game will begin soon. Let me see who you all side on when I start as a queen." Diana's evil laugh filled the hall. —--------- (In Vincenzo's room) His unhappiness was evident on his face. As Rachel entered the room, she dodged two pillows that were to hit her on the face. The dressing table was upside down. "Vince stop this please." She pleaded. "No, I won't." Vincenzo threw the glass vase towards Rachel but quickly jumped in to save her when he realized his mistake.

~Emilia’s Point of View~ “I just feel like I should have gotten my wolf by now. I mean, I’ll be 17 in six weeks. It seems like everyone else has theirs,” I whined to Gabby, my only friend. “It’ll happen girl, I know a lot of wolves have lost their faith in the Goddess, but I still keep her in my heart. I believe she watches over us,” she said, giving me a side hug as we walked to class.
