ARCHER'S QUEEN

ARCHER'S QUEEN

But when he saw the person pointing the thin, old blade to his body, he felt like all the air in his body was deflated, and he found himself abandoning all defenses. In front of him was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. THE WOMAN was in a white, dirtied-up shift; her red, wavy hair seemingly glowing and illuminating her dress. On her left hand was a woven basket full of ripe fruits, and her right hand was pointing a sword at him. Her lovely green eyes were blazing in menace, her whole position radiating a sense of unwelcome. “Who are you, and what are you doing in my house?” Archer wanted to speak, but found his throat embarrassingly unable to make a sound. He took a tentative step

The Chaos Wars

The Chaos Wars

DSX
Knowledge flows through me as the Index activates. It’s back huh? Finally. My blade reappears in my hand. “Let me tell you something, you all think I’m weak without a shard? Let me clarify, I was made Arch-mage before I learnt how to use my shard. still an Arch-mage, idiot! I raise my hand and the sky is filled with blue sigils. “Thurisaz!” The sigils rain down lightning which the berserker dodges easily, still dashing at me. The lightning is drawn to my blade again this time completely turning white. I absorb the energy and charge at the demon again, cutting off his arm before he can react. He roars in pain and charges at me again, but he’s In range this time. A sigil appears in my palm and

BRED FOR DUTY

BRED FOR DUTY

It wasn’t Xander but the other one, Archer. She had guessed right about the arrow. Archer had a silver bow in his hand. It was magnificent. There was a carving on it and at both tips a jewel. She saw his muscles flex as he raised the bow, leading her to believe it was heavy. Her eyes were stuck on the muscles between his shoulder blades as his arm pulled back and released, sending a white arrow into a ball that had been catapulted into the air. ***

Magic Academy: Finding My Mate

Magic Academy: Finding My Mate

I glare up at him, daring to challenge his hungry eyes even if it's one against five. "You won't touch anything." I hold his gaze, irritated that I have to crane my neck to see his face. Being short is a damn curse. He chuckles and nods at his friends, who appear behind him with scary-looking smiles aimed at me. "That's where you are wrong, kitten," The guy with the shades says, smiling wickedly. His lips are cruel. "We are five against one, and last time I checked, you aren't good at using your magic against werewolves—I saw alpha Blake repel your magic. Now, we aren't as strong as an alpha, but we are still five people."

My Archangel Soulmate

My Archangel Soulmate

Obviously thinking something bad was about to happen, Rick quickly shuffled from his spot right next to me, keeping me as close as possible against his body. I hastily grabbed his hand, still warily eyeing the four seemingly young creatures as they gracefully advanced right towards us, their attention still trained on Micah. “Amariel. Finish him,” The white-haired female commanded with a simple flick of her wrist and in the fraction of a second, one of the three angels suddenly stood right in front of him, drawing one of those silvery blades they all usually carry right through Micah’s chest, his violent screams briefly cutting through the air, a bright white light seeping from the wound, ri

The hybrid's curse

The hybrid's curse

Michael threw his hands up, in surrender. "I quit," he yelled as Artemis was readying herself to throw another punch. She smirked. "What happened? Lost to the girl. But I remember you saying, 'girls are fragile, they couldn't handle one blow', huh??" Artemis mocked his previous words. "I...I didn't know you were that strong" Michael panted. His breathing was uneven. He was taking large inhales of air. Being Commander of Olympus, being defeated by women, was full of embarrassment for him. But the person with whom he was fighting, is not a mere woman, she is Royal Archer, her special powers included perfect aim with the bow and arrow, the ability to sense danger.

The Way of the Dragon

The Way of the Dragon

He desperately channeled his Might to intercept the attack. Zephyr successfully blocked the attack, but his arm reeled back from the pain, going numb as the arrow broke itself, sending a loud crack that echoed around. However, Zephyr was still pushed back by thirty feet. “This archer’s skill… is…” Zephyr gasped loudly. “If this was any other guy, they wouldn't be so lucky!' He pondered, ‘Had he hid himself well enough, even an Agile of level one could be easily killed!’

Enjoying the book tremendously, the characters names and even the tone of the author changed in the last 1/3 of the book was a bit confusing but was able to adjust to the changes the plot is definitely engaging and keeps you pushing to see how it all plays out for Zepher but it seem to abruptly?

Empress of the World

Empress of the World

Caleb called as he slashed at the closest dark blue spearman. The archers of the New Emperor's Army tried to return the volleys of Aurora's Imperial troops. their shots were unfocused, even hitting some of their own men in the process. Watching this, a lithe young Guardian with her hair twisted up many small tight buns stood on the shoulders of one of her bulky friends as a leather thong hung loosely from her hand. She allowed a smooth stone to fall gently into the pouch in the middle of the slingshot before swinging it swiftly around in a circle and releasing the stone toward one of the offending archers. The enemy was hit in the forehead, unconscious before his body hit the ground. Seeing

Recasting Arrows

Recasting Arrows

I held the bowstring, preparing my fingers to let go of the arrow as I gasp for air. Archery has been my preference. It gives me a calm mood and I often uses it to reduce my anger or grief within my chest. As I let go of the arrow, it directly darted toward the target and I sigh in relief upon witnessing how it pierced through the center. "Not bad at all," I whispered and a smirk escaped from my edges. Mayhaps I must go home and assemble myself for the night's lantern exhibition. As I have my departure, I notice a silhouette from afar. The butts aren't distant from the forest I used to stay in. Out of my interest, my feet hasten to tail the figure of a woman. I could evidently glimpse how sh
