The Demon King Chronicles; Demon-Named

The Demon King Chronicles; Demon-Named

The Concierge
a petite girl with a mop of hair on her head began, “then why are we always told to build up our reia. If the amount of reia is not important, why take our time on it instead of just focusing on our will?” “That’s a good question. Let’s see if any of your mates have the answer.” Tillaman turned to the rest of the class. “Anybody? … Nobody? So nobody.” He turned back to her. “You will be taught this is in your reiaology class, but for the sake of posterity, I’ll give you an answer. Magic as a whole demands reia. Linking with a piece of rock may require nothing but a sliver of reia, but what if you want to lift a table? Or a boulder?” He shrugged, nonchalant. “What if you want to lift a castle

Magic by Moonlight

Magic by Moonlight

" Begrudgingly they lined up to have their scrapes mended. The seven of us watched in awe as Selene revealed more of her magic abilities to us. After Selene cleaned the large gash across Cassius' arm, she hovered her hand over the wound and whispered a few words. A warm glow emitted from her hand and right before our eyes, the cut began to mend. Cassius flexed and rotated his arm. He gave Selene a look of admiration. "It feels good as new. Thank you, Miss Selene," Cassius said. It wasn't long until the remaining wounds of the others were healed. Arlo watched the entire time with a pout. "Aw, man. I want to be healed by magic," he muttered. Sage gave him a playful shove. "You are such a baby,

Twin Alphas' Celestial Luna

Twin Alphas' Celestial Luna

’ I laugh out loud at how surreal it is, having ancient magic explained to me using twentieth century plumbing metaphors. “So, the first time is harder?” I ask the obvious question. ‘Like all new things, it takes time, patience and practice. The first time can be difficult, especially if it is something more obscure like cloaking. That takes a lot of power, practice and knowledge. Things that will come over time. Fyre is natural to us, just like misting and flying. It is natural for you to walk, but you stumbled as you learned. Magic is the same. It flows through you, you have the benefit of being part witch, and the practise you have had with your gifts, will help you greatly.’ Naivleen has

Absolutely amazing! I loved both books! The main story arc is very impressive. I love that I can feel the emotions of the characters as I read these books. The best part about this book is how interconnected the characters are to one another. I would definitely recommend both books!!

This book (and the first as well) is awesome!! The author really takes time to develop her characters and story and follows through with all the different story arcs and twists and turns! But, what is the third book in this trilogy?? Am I missing something, or is it not published yet?

My Bullies:My Mates

My Bullies:My Mates

"This spell will allow you to communicate with each other telepathically." The class murmured in excitement, and Master Colt raised his hands to silence us. "The Mind Link spell requires concentration and control. You must be able to clear your mind and focus on the spell. There's also a challenge: you'll be tested, and if you fail, you won't be able to get the spell. Are you ready to begin?" We chorused, "Yes, Master!" Zina handed out the spell-books, and I smiled as I collected mine. It was boldly written: "Guard for Learners."

The adventure of Andy

The adventure of Andy

Celica heard Andy's questions, she smiled and looked at her small hands to explain to Andy: "Ah, it's the magic of life, Andy. It has many varieties such as space magic for storage, cooking, spells, barriers, healing, fishing, basic attacks, etc. .. And many other things, but I'm only learning a few right now. Do you want me to teach you a few, Andy? Like you might need these later on." Andy happily looked into Celica's eyes with his amused gaze, he clasped her hand and began to say gratefully: "Yes, I feel like you're amazing Celica, like you know everything!" Celia showed herself to be very good and began to look at Andy with the eyes of a teacher looking at her students, she arrogantly a

Rose as she continued to read the book in front of her. “Yeah, okay…” Cecilia also continued reading. The stack of books were all about magic. “Magus: Basic Structures Of Magic Circles” “Gifts Granted By God” “Divine Magic And Belief” “Elemental Resonance Between Magic And Science” “Advanced Guide to Magic” were some of the titles among others. Rose’s objective was to master at least a few high tier magic for the upcoming fight. That was the original plan that she thought of when she had just returned from the last quest but as of now, she was keeping watch. Her eyes also took quick glances at Cecilia.

A Kissing Spell

A Kissing Spell

I was beginning to realize that magic was something created in a spiritual dimension, there was no proper deduction that could describe it, there was no clear recipe to cast a certain spell… at least not in an advanced magic. The first magical lesson I got from Sister didn't last long… but I received a lot of homework. I was supposed to read the book she gave me and practice everything that was written there. I couldn't say that I liked my first assignment, but I clenched my fists and committed myself to do my best and learn as much as I could. She gave me two days to master it all… It didn't look like an easy task, but I couldn't afford to connive myself.

Alpha Asher

Alpha Asher

“My mother would tell me all about what happened to little witches that tried to cast big spells out of their skillset…never ends well.” “On that note, I’d like you to have this.” Cordelia shook her head at Rowena for trying to scare me off, but little did they know there wasn’t anything anyone could do to knock me off this path. If magic meant protecting my friends, family, and pack—then sign me up, risks included. “Take this book home with you, study the sigils and their meaning’s. It’s a beginners guide so you shouldn’t be able to drain yourself into a coma if you try one out.” The cover was bound in plum colored velvet, which was soft as it brushed against my fingertips. This time I did

Jane Doe, I love this book. It has helped keep my mind off of chemo and pain. It takes me away and I can’t tell you how much that means. I was wondering if you planned on writing a story about Alpha Zeke? If so could you let us know? Thanks for everything!! - KayCee (she-wolf of Colorado Springs)......

Alpha’s Bewitching Regret

Sheeba chuckled and then said in a misty voice, “ My dear, magic comes from within and not from learning as long as you concentrate on the task which is in front of you only then will you be able to come up with a proper spell that will solve your troubles, do you think that the guardians who were born with special abilities had books prepared for them? No, they did not have any idea either, they did not know what was happening to them and what they needed to do to stop it.” “ It was their sheer willpower which gave them enough strength to break the shackles which held them down and look within themselves, given that you are a witch and a shifter as well, I can see that your magic is stronge

it's a great book so far and I can't wait to see how it ends. There are some grammar corrections that need to be made but they are not to where you can't understand the book. the book is quite long and it's the second longest book that I've read. I was disappointed that a couple of chapters are

Blood and Moon: Araya

Blood and Moon: Araya

“Is that something I can do too?” “Of course. Everything you need is within your grasp now. Because of your accelerated training, you have the basic skills required. You just have to put it to good use. Magic is as much mental as it is physical. You think it, feel it inside, and then you manifest it and speak it into existence. It will come to you in due time.” I was so thankful I had found her. I felt a connection with her and wondered how alike her and Antoinette were. She was kind and helpful and I had learned more from her in the last couple of days than I had since I’ve known about my identity.
