A silver moon surrounded by seven stars. "What is it?" Orion drew in a slow breath. "A forgotten prophecy." "I thought it was only a myth." He pointed to the ancient illustration. They were toasting the woman who would destroy everything they held dear, and they didn’t have a clue. After exchanging a few more pleasantries, I returned to Damien’s side. He wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me close.

Their eyes moved over his wet skin before they returned to his face.

Stars sparkled within his translucent body, and his voice echoed like the whispers of ancient nebulae. Third was Levana, the Moon Mistress. She appeared as a serene figure, her skin pale and luminous like the moon at midnight. Her hair flowed like silver rivers, and her eyes were deep pools of liquid night, reflecting the phases of the moon. Fourth was Thalassia, the Ocean Keeper. Her form was fluid and ever-changing, shifting from water to ice to mist. Her eyes were the color of the deepest seas, and she exuded a calm yet formidable power, like the tide that shapes the shores.

What about my other siblings, why can’t they do it?” I asked, starting to freak out a bit. “Because none of them are female.” He said, which I guess it kind of made sense, considering Selene was not only the Moon Goddess but had power over fertility as well.
