MAY

MAY

"Maryam isn't familiar with all those meals you're listing." "Eh ... It's because you're always cooking noodles for her." Mama retorted and then turned to Maryam again who was now smiling. "Don't worry. After you stay with me for about a week you'll get fat. Your mom and dad won't even recognize you when they see you again." "But Grandma, do I really need to eat Eba?" Maryam asked, squeezing her face like only the thought of it could make her puke. Mama nodded in affirmative.

The Dream Elixir
This book was beautifully written and I enjoyed it so very much. It made me feel so many things and I was on the edge of my seat for most of the while because I really wanted the best for May. I felt so much anger towards Edric, uncertainty towards Tega, and love for Edric. definitely insightful

Nice book. I love how it treats domestic issues prevalent in a lot of Nigerian homes. I also love how the book doesn't glamorize abuse like other pics I've read in this genre. Seeing as the author is a girl from Bayelsa, it gives me joy that she adds elements of her background in the story.

"Mama…"

HIS BABY MAMA

HIS BABY MAMA

I bent with my left hand on my knees. “Hi,” I waved at them, and they also did the same, smiling widely. And I really wish they were mine because they are so adorable. “I’m your mother's elder sister, which means I’m your aunt, so you can call me Mary.” “Really? Can we do that?” The girl asked, and I gave her a positive nod, and they both beamed with joy. “Have you seen Emelia? I heard she’s awake; her room is next to Mom’s room,” Kira asked curiously, and I rose up, now facing her.

Hi everyone, I mistakenly uploaded chapter 46 three times. I'm very sorry for that but I've already edited it immediately. The editors are on holiday because it's weekend, so I will have to wait until tomorrow for the changes to reflect. I'm really sorry for any inconveniences.

The book is quite amazing with good plotline as the character I had been pitying seems to also have her own ugly side. What draws me in to read more chapters is that both the male and female lead are both crazy, which makes more interesting.
