A Billionaire's Love
I hadn’t ordered anything.
Unlocking the door, I opened it just a crack. “Yes?”
“Delivery for Karen,” the man said, his voice neutral, his face unreadable.
“I didn’t order anything,” I replied, keeping my tone firm but calm.
“I’m just the messenger,” he said, shrugging slightly. He held out the basket and a sealed envelope.
Reluctantly, I opened the door wider and accepted the items, my eyes narrowing as I examined the basket. A variety of fresh fruits were arranged inside, along with a small jar of honey and a neatly wrapped box of chocolates.
