Journey Through the Shadow Realms

Journey Through the Shadow Realms

she asked her companion. Eldion looked at the mangosteens and pomelos that were displayed on the shelves. He could see that they were not as big nor as fresh as those he saw in Alnoc and they did not look as appetizing. Then, he saw some bananas that were deep fried in oil and brown sugar and knew he had to try them. “I think I’ll have some of those fried bananas, Mira,” he said. “How about some fruit tea, young travelers? I have hot tea to warm your stomachs,” offered the old man.

Caught In The CEO's Sweet Trap

Caught In The CEO's Sweet Trap

“I got you the fruits you wanted.” My eyes rounded. “Is that…?” He nodded. “Yes! It’s mangosteen. I managed to have it imported at the last minute just to make my wife happy.” “Awww, Luca… you’re so sweet, my love,” I said, looking down at the basket that he had placed in front of me. “I didn’t actually think I would be able to have these fruits since the country had run out of them. Thank you so much.” Tears stung my eyes before rolling down my cheeks. I could already imagine myself eating the fruits… the memory of the sweet, tangy flavour lingered on my tongue, making me salivate.

This book is incomplete, however, I’m still giving it 5 stars. This book is great and the author is a tremendously talented writer. This is the seventh book I’ve read that she has published on GN. I see her growth and I look forward to reading more of her work.

Thoroughly enjoyed this story, though felt like there could’ve been more of a storyline for the supporting characters love story… it definitely felt rushed! But overall definitely would recommend this book, lots of twists & plenty of action!

Craving My Best Friend’s Brother

Craving My Best Friend’s Brother

Another chance like this might not come. Then I head back out. I gasp the second I step onto the deck. A tray of fruit sits on the low table. Strawberries, grapes, and sliced mango arranged like it came out of a resort menu. Beside it, a bottle sits nestled in a bucket of ice, two glasses set neatly alongside it. Cortney is already settled into the cushioned seat, sunglasses pushed up onto her head, legs crossed, smile perfectly in place. “What is all of this?” “Fun.” She tilts her head. “The fun I promised you. Come sit.”

Transmigrated Into A Billionaire

Transmigrated Into A Billionaire

I thought about giving him a fake name but figured they were about to get intoxicated and would probably forget me anyway, so why not just tell him. "Well Amanda, I'm Carlos, and I'm in charge here and do you know what I have in front of me??" He asked me to roll them over. They all looked somewhat colorful bearing a fruit like image on each of them, the white had apples on it, while the green had lemons, the black had grapes and the red had watermelons on it.

Enduring Liam: A High School BL Novel

I raise my eyebrow. “What happened to being clear-headed when you’re with me, hmm?” I ask, but he only chuckles. “Just one glass won’t make us shitfaced. I can tell you’re nervous about being alone with me, so maybe this will relax you a little bit.” He says, pouring himself a glass, then pours me one. I look over into the picnic basket and notice other snacks in there; some were even my favourite. “You got Jujy Fruits?!” I ask, grabbing the packet from the basket and smiling excitedly. Jason chuckles and nods.

DIRTY DESIRES

DIRTY DESIRES

Blanche was now with her in his pajama with a worried smile on his lips and eyed Narco questioningly who just shrugged his shoulders in response. "Wow, I love it! I love the arrangements!" Eyes sparkle in delight, Sumire said in a shrill voice when she saw how pleasing to the eye Narco's baskets with lots of fruit were. Narco entered all the baskets of fruit inside the manor and put them on the table. Sumire excitedly looked and dig at the fruits like a kid. One by one and humming joyously, she pick on the fruit she wanted to eat and smell it. "Where did you get this?" Blanche asked, taking fruits from the basket as well and smelling it too as his eyes curiously darted on his cousin who was

Blood Moon: Vengeance of the Reborn Luna

Blood Moon: Vengeance of the Reborn Luna

I make my way to the fruit stand, exchanging a subtle sign with the vendor. “I’ll take a basket of persimmons, hibiscus, apples, and watermelon,” I say. As he hands me the basket, I slip the letters into his hand. He nods discreetly as he tucks them slyly in his coat. I pay him for the fruits before moving on. At the balm stand, an elderly woman, Aria, greets me warmly. “Grand Luna Eve is well, I hope?” “She’s fine,” I reply. “Just complaining about her joints.”

PRETEND PRINCESS

PRETEND PRINCESS

"Yes. And. and I want food—lots. Send all of it. Sushi, ramen, wagashi, fruit—send it in a basket. Best quality. Today's for Yuki." He hesitated for half a beat, as if he felt the magnitude of that craving, but nodded after that. "Understood." "Thank you." Kenji handled the rest: ordering an upscale concierge. I drove this vintage eco-sedan to make it inconspicuous, but racing within. I restrained from playing Ecstasy chords—it needed to sound contemplative, not flashy. Still: revenge against cowardice. Ten minutes in, my team told me it was a group of chefs at Azabu that assembled the basket—fresh fruit, sweet mochi, yakitori, soup, three types of nigiri and a jar of matcha pudding. I permi

This book is really interesting and I'm waiting for more updates. Yuyu really is a walking colour disaster sometimes but I love it. Both Creed and Yuyu should sort out their messy relationship before getting together. I can already sense the tension though. Good job author and success to this book

The Embrace Of The Lycan King

The Embrace Of The Lycan King

My eyes lit up, and I plucked a grape, wiping it on my clothes before popping it into my mouth. So sweet. Nearby stood a tall tree with wooden benches and a table built around its trunk. I walked toward it and sat down, with Felly and Ria following. I lifted Abby and placed her gently on the table. A woman approached us and handed over a basket of assorted fruits. “Thank you,” Felly told her, and the woman left. “Luna,” Felly said softly, pushing the basket toward me. I smiled and took a piece. Silence stretched between us—thick, uneasy. I could feel Ria and Felly’s nerves like shifting air around us.

Her stroll towards the inner parts of the market feels like her fresh meandering in the market of Bayanihan as well. From there, she learned that the best stalls are often at the hinter parts of the market and the best products are often hidden or covered by the old supplies. She happily picks up oranges and other fruits. A special stall offers fresh buko as well. She thought of preparing a buko salad as a special dessert for Oneil to enjoy. While she was waiting for the vendor to pack her items, some fruits rolled towards her feet.
