Boyfriend for Sale

Boyfriend for Sale

Through this, I learned something dark and scary about her. Nowadays, my step mom was known far and wide as the incumbent CEO of Ironscapes. Mathilde Angeles, was a distinguished personality in the world of business, to say the least, which were all thanks to her closed affiliation with the biggest tycoon of all time, the Nordstorme's family. But according to the official name registry that my hired detective acquired, she was also formerly known as Agnes Scoth and was actually a criminal on Interpol's blacklist.

The Billionaire I Married

The Billionaire I Married

This was where Kate saw Agnes’ face for the first time. There was a life-size portrait of her beside the fireplace. In it, Agnes was dressed in a strapless red evening gown with a full skirt that reached her ankles. Her shoulders were covered with a furry shawl and her neck was adorned with pearls. Agnes’ jet-black hair was pinned up in an intricate updo. Her bright red lipstick matched her dress perfectly, while her twinkling hazel-green eyes stared back at Kate from the picture. It seemed as if Agnes was gazing directly at Kate with an expression of pity on her stunningly beautiful face. Was that a warning to Kate from Agnes in the afterlife? Or was she being unnecessarily superstitious?

THE LYCAN KING AND HIS HUNTED LUNA

THE LYCAN KING AND HIS HUNTED LUNA

A flicker of recognition passed through his eyes, an acknowledgment of my noble lineage. King Edward’s gaze shifted toward Agnes as I continued, my words infused with a touch of pride. “And this, Your Majesty, is Agnes, the queen of Qarth, She possesses not only beauty that rivals the stars themselves but also a spirit as fierce as the most untamed wildfire.”

Maria

Maria

She held back her appetite and scolded herself mentally. Just a little more pride, Maria. Food doesn't control you. "Yes, let's." Mrs. Jones agreed, her eyes still glued to the table as though she could read on it a map of a lost treasure. Clankings of silver wares and Chinas. The food showed no reduction. Maria noticed how little their appetites were and she marched it, dipping in and out of the dishes her forks as she remembered late nights of more canned beans back in Spain. Cannes beans equaled loss of appetite, maybe that was what she needed.

Guardian-In-Law

Agnes shamelessly said. Agnes had no friends in Westeros and was eager to marry her daughter off, so Margot and Ruth would be her best bet. The two of them looked young and noble, like someone from a powerful background. She assumed they were powerful themselves. “What do we have to do with your problems? Why must we help you?” Ruth said, trying to shun Agnes away. “My daughter doesn’t listen to me. I ask her to talk to Edmund Witterson to request for an invitation, but she doesn’t want to do it. They are business partners so it should be an easy task, but she talked back and did not want to help.

So now that they divorced is it a way for him to make a heram? I hope the get back together soon and the author does not drag it too long. Even though Kaze didn’t have physical contact with any of these ladies he is not innocent as well. Darcy is well within her rights to be mad at Kaze

His Billion-Dollar Regret: The Forgotten Wife Returns

His Billion-Dollar Regret: The Forgotten Wife Returns

[POV: Lewis] (Location: Edinburgh) Eleanor said the name clearly, the way she always delivered difficult information — no cushioning, no preamble. "Margaret Holt." Lewis stood at the kitchen counter and ran the name through everything he knew. Margaret Holt. Edinburgh charity circuit. Patron of the arts. Fifties, well-connected, the kind of woman who appeared in the Edinburgh Evening News twice a year beside someone receiving an award she'd funded. He'd shaken her hand at a cancer research gala two years ago. She'd been standing beside Catherine, which he'd noted and then immediately filed away as irrelevant because everyone on that circuit had stood beside Catherine at some point.

She also grew very attached to Kira as well for some reason. While everyone was having a simple porridge and bread breakfast, a petite woman who looked to be in her mid-thirties walked out from the kitchen and sat in the empty chair at the table. “Oh, Anderson. Nice of you to join us. I was afraid I would have to come up there and drag you down myself.” Her voice was light and soothing. She had a caring smile plastered on her face even as she jokingly threatened Anderson. She was the light of the little orphanage. Miss Agnes.

The Carrero Effect

The Carrero Effect

Was not something he ever bypassed. Margo swept out into the foyer in a heavy cloud of Chanel No 9 as soon as the elevator doors opened, like a breath of fresh air, ever-ready with her professional smile and attractive body wrapped in Christian Dior tailoring. She had served him well for years and was the temple of cool and efficient he was looking for in a new assistant. He needed a new Margo to replace her or this was just never going to work in the long run. Previous temporary assistants had either been useless or tried like crazy to fuck him, and he didn’t ever cross work with play. He knew what he was looking for and he hoped to hell she was right with this one, he was in no mood for an

Wonderful book, great character dynamic and storyline! Every emotion was tapped into! Enjoyed the Jake POV chapters at the end. On a serious not, Emma’s deep seeded issue are more common than we realize, and the issues associated with were address in way that encouraged & informed the reader!🤩💕

Amazing book! It was long but well worth it. I even wish there was more. I loved the bonus chapters but would also love an epilogue. There was a lot of character growth and maturity for both ML and FL. Looking forward to reading the other books in the series. Would love to see Daniel spin off.

LOVE HIS ENEMY: My Husband's Downfall

LOVE HIS ENEMY: My Husband's Downfall

I’m ready. Today, I have so many plans. So many things to do. Chief among them is seeing my son. Edward. My heart aches at the thought of him, his sweet face, his curious little voice asking endless questions. But first, I need to survive Celia, my nasty mother-in-law. As I rise, smoothing the hem of my blouse, Agnes appears in the doorway. She leans against the frame, arms crossed, a knowing look on her face. “You came in late last night,” she says, her voice casual but curious.

she said with teary eyes. "Please stop Maddie!” I sighed, touching my nose. " There is no proper proof yet! But it seemed like Agnes plotted the whole thing, “ I said, rushing my words. Madison and Mr Dave looked at each other confused, “Agnes? Who is she?" Madison asked, Mr Dave nodded in agreement. “She used to be my high school sweetheart. She is a crazy drug addict I didn't think would be much of a problem" I said, folding my brows.
