Mi Amor

Mi Amor

she cried, and Javier picked her up and twirled her around. “This is Zuleima,” he said to me. “She’s six. Zuli, I want you to meet a very good friend of mine, Tio Adam.” She smiled shyly and then looked down at Javier’s shoulder. “That’s a very pretty dress,” I said. It was decorated with white snowflakes. “Are you a princess? Because you look an awful lot like Princess Elsa.” “I do!” she said, and she smiled at me. Another girl, a couple of years older with a mass of dark curls, rushed forward, and Javier managed to scoop her up in his other arm. He introduced me to her; she was Ariella. “A to Z,” I said to Javier.

I looked ahead as if I did not see them. The shop was tiny, and it had many plants in it. She was still showing me around when someone came to call me. I looked at her, and she smiled at me to go. I saw in that shop that the woman did not need my help. I believe she wanted to help me, and she was looking for a reason to do so, so she offered me the job. The guy that came to call me was dark-skinned and very young with woolly hair. He had striking blue eyes, and I knew he was barely thirteen.

This was a great book, rich in detail and with complex characters. It’s the second book I read from this author, the first being “Unwanted”, which had no ending. This book also has no ending. I’m really disappointed to have wasted so much money on books that appear to have been abandoned.

A Forever Kind of Love

A Forever Kind of Love

“I've been called many things. You get used to it after a while.” Mia's heart ached for him. He didn't deserve to be called any of those things. From what she'd seen of the man, he was the exact antithesis of greedy or uncaring. She was glad she hadn't known who he was. She would have come in with a preconceived idea of what Carter would be like. He was rich, but he wasn't spoiled. Carter cleared his throat and motioned to the designs. “What features would you want in a car like this?”

With Aim of Love

With Aim of Love

I was exactly in time; the students were everywhere and I started looking for the target. “No…it’s not you…no… damn it where is him?” I was touching the kids in order to find Joshua; the son of the woman I hit. Suddenly, I heard “You creepy!” I turned around and found a mature woman staring at me with her bulging eyes, “Oh! I’m not a creepy mam, I just…” She interrupted me with her screaming “A Creep! A Creep! Someone help me here!” -I mean what's wrong with people today? And then, I remembered my costume, actually, I really looked like a creepy, but those were just a cover for the people to don’t recognize me and know that I’m the famous billionaire Joan Birmingham.-

"And who is that girl that Carlos is necking over there?" "Her name is Jessica," Stefano replied. "I don't give a fuck in high hell what her name is. Who is she and why does she look about sixteen?" Leo asked. "Because she is sixteen... and we know her from school," Marco explained. "Carlos hooks up with her all the time-" "Don't need to know about my little brother's sex life thanks, Marco," Leo interjected. "Just get back to the house before midnight for Lenny's first shift. Oh and preferably not completely stoned, understand?"

I truly enjoyed reading this book. There were parts the the feeling became very intense and I had to put it down. Then, once I was ready, I picked it back up and couldn’t put it down until it was finished. The story played in my head, predicting what might happen next, and I found it hard to sleep. TY

This is one of the most riveting books I have had the pleasure to read. Even though I haven’t slept in 2 days I couldn’t put it down and finished reading it over the past 6 hours. While it is a story of wars, rape, beatings and constant struggles reading it has allowed me to find peace. Thanks 💕

KAREN: A BILLIONAIRE FEUD

KAREN: A BILLIONAIRE FEUD

MERC has a lot of associates and it's important to be friendly with all of them though sometimes I fear they're getting too familiar with us and forget their place. "I didn't think you'd come," Karen said suddenly. My heart skipped a beat as I turned my head to look down at her. She's 5ft8 to my 6ft1 so she has to tilt her head to look up at me giving me a nice view of her slender and attractive neck which seems to beckon to me to give it just one bite. It takes quite an effort to keep my mind and eyes off her neck as she repeats her sentence. "Why?" I ask.

“You think you’re going to get answers by trying to beat them out of him? You're just going to end up killing him and there is not going to be good for us to it.” “He deserves worse.” I snapped. “Maybe. But that doesn’t mean we waste our energy now.” Damon’s voice dropped further. “Use your head. Not your rage.” I clenched my jaw. Behind us, Carter said, voice ragged, “She called herself Tatiana. She… she said things about Delilah. About power. About what’s coming.” Damon turned slowly. “Spare me.” Carter blinked. “You don’t believe me?” Damon’s expression hardened. “I don’t believe anything from a man who watched us bleed and said nothing.”

Pretend Girlfriend

Pretend Girlfriend

Why is she here? "How can you do this? Why are you here, Aimee?" I bark at her, and she flinches for a second, but then she recomposes herself and looks at me defiantly. This is not the Aimee I knew. The Aimee I knew was kind and shy, and she was the most delicate flower I had ever seen. This woman is independent and strong.

Frequently Asked Questions

the characters are so vivid they practically leap off the page! The protagonist is usually someone deeply relatable—flawed yet endearing, like a friend you'd argue with over coffee but still root for. Their journey often mirrors real-life struggles, whether it's navigating family drama or chasing dreams against all odds. Then there's the supporting cast: the quirky best friend who steals every scene, the enigmatic love interest with layers you slowly peel back, and the antagonist who isn't just a villain but a person with their own twisted logic. Diaz has a knack for making even minor characters feel essential, like the wise mentor who pops up at just the right moment or the comic relief sidekick who keeps things light. It's this balance of depth and entertainment that hooks me every time.

What really stands out is how Diaz's characters evolve. They don't stay static; they grow messily, making mistakes and learning in ways that feel earned. I recently reread one of their novels and noticed subtle foreshadowing in early dialogue that paid off beautifully by the finale. And the relationships! Whether it's fraught sibling dynamics or slow-burn romances, the interactions crackle with authenticity. I'd love to see these characters adapted for screen—they'd shine in a limited series where their nuances could really simmer.
