He pushed me hard, and I fell to the ground. Looking up, I noticed a man standing before me; he was huge, with pure white hair and completely black eyes. He was the scariest and most imposing creature I had ever seen. I knew who he was even by a single glance. This was Vox, the Demon Overlord, and he was in this pack. He walked past me like I wasn’t even there. “Did you do as I told you?” he asked Daemon, his voice calm and yet threatening. “I did.”

But my mom just smiled. “That’s my girl.” I smiled proudly. “But what is that?” She picked me up and walked over to her bookcase, she pulled out a really old book and opened it. On the page was a man with horns on his head and a long tail. “So, a demon is usually a very strong being. One who will use tricks and magic to punish anyone who makes them angry. Many people are afraid of them, because they are really strong and don’t show mercy to their enemies.”

I can smell it. "Jessy" Damion called weakly. "I told you not to come. Didn't you get my message? This people ain't normal werewolves. They have real demon in them" I sniffed looking at him. My tears wouldn't stop flowing. This is my worse fear and I can't lose two family in weeks to the same people. My heart can't take it. I might be a warrior, I have weakness and that's my family. The scent of the demon was stronger now, a sharp, acrid odor that filled the air. The demon stood in the center of the hut, unmoving, like a grotesque statue. Claud approached it slowly, every sense on high alert. He reached out, his fingers brushing against the demon’s cold, unyielding flesh. For a moment, it remained lifeless, and then suddenly, a voice echoed through the air, commanding it to attack.

Asher watched the memory unfold as if it were happening right before his eyes. He narrowed his eyes, focused on the dark figure with the massive wings. "Who the hell is this?" he asked Damir internally. "That's Morgana, a high-ranking demon from the Abyss," Damir replied. A beat of silence. "This Abyss," Asher said, his tone shifting. "Where exactly is it?"

His eyes are entirely pitch black, and he doesn’t look the slightest bit bothered even as Vanya chokes and sputters, her shaking fingers desperately trying to push his boot off. “I don’t hit women, Vanya.
