My name is Chris and I was publicly humiliated, flogged and disgraced by the Math Teacher, in front of my classmates. Embarrassed, in tears and angered I vowed to take revenge on him even though I know it would be very unlikely for me to do that since I am just a teenager, a high school student whereas he is not just my school teacher but an adult. However luck would shine on me when I heard the news that the Math Teacher's son would be transferring to our school. At last! I can finally get revenge on my Maths Teacher's through his unfortunate son. But I would get the shook of my life when I discovered the Teacher's child is not a HE but a SHE! The most beautiful girl I have ever seen. So what do you think? Will I continue with my plan of seeking revenge on the Maths Teacher's through his child? Or Am I about to fall in love with My Teacher's Daugher?

Ideally, the ‘tunnels’ in the collection are subterranean love poems from the suburban imaginary. These seemingly syntactic tunnels travel through one’s literary imagination or heterotopic dreamscapes, and while αγάπη (Greek for ‘love’) inspires these rhizomic tunnels to navigate the abysmal ‘meta-spectacle’ of gesture, language or moment of poemness, the mind like the many-colored jeepneys of Manila, where driving past roast goose restaurants in Shek Kip Mei or spotting stilt houses in Kampong Kleang, attempt to explore the transgeneric textualities of the everyday, alongside the unstructurality of time and space, the littoral and the liminal.

Going through hell for a year extra was never Ivy's plan and by hell she means high school. She knows she isn't that smart but she thought she is at least smart enough to graduate high school and get into a fairly decent college. Too bad she is disillusioned when she watches her mates receive their diploma while she has to repeat 12th grade. As if hell wasn't hot enough, it becomes hotter when a new, hot, mysterious 25 year old substitute teacher replaces their maths teacher that is missing. Not only does the teacher look like a walking sex god, he also has tattoos all over his arms…just the type of man she's crazy about. Everyone wonders how someone like him got a job as a teacher and deciding that she needs something exciting in her life other than the bullying she faces at school and the abuse she faces at home, she attempts to seduce him and find out everything she needs about him. She wasn't expecting him to respond to her pathetic attempt at seduction but shockingly, he does and he becomes madly obsessed with her. Suddenly, Ivy's life becomes much more complicated as she becomes entangled in a sea of dangerous mess. Can she pull herself out or will she helplessly drown?
