Ronan The moment Matilda leaves the emergency floor. I immediately stand up from where I am previously seating and approach Hilda. She's only so concerned about Seraphina that she doesn't care about hurting Matilda. I grab her arm harshly, getting her full attention as she turns her eyes away from the operating room. I glare at her and hiss in her face. “What the hell was that, Hilda?” She looks at me with her sad and puffy eyes. “And what did I do?” She asks me and I grit my teeth.

But it was Damien, lying helplessly beneath the towering creature, that made her stomach drop. Her pulse quickened. She’d promised him that nothing would ever happen to him. She swore she’d keep him safe. She couldn’t just sit back and watch him die. Without another thought, Matilda leapt from the tree, her wings bursting from her back in a flash of celestial light. She soared through the air with desperate speed, racing toward the battle. When she landed, the Velakar was poised to strike, its massive claw raised to drive into Damien’s chest, straight for his heart.

Maximus asked as he entered the room that had been prepared for him. “Wait, have you checked the room for any spell?” he asked as soon as it came to his mind. “Yes I have and there’s nothing,” Matilda answered. Maximus relaxed upon hearing that there was nothing in the room. “The girl, what did you see about her?” he asked. “Nothing special, she refused to touch the food and so the spell we had put in it didn’t work,” Matilda said in annoyance. No one except Maximus knew that she was raised by a witch who gave her some of her powers.

Matilda was on birth control pills so I didn't have to bother about pregnancy. "Oh fuck, I needed this after today's bore," she said, trying to catch her breath. I laid down beside her, my breath coming in short rasps. "You saw her, didn't you?" I asked, running my fingers slowly over her thighs. "Yeah, I don't like her. She seems fragile but I just don't like the aura that she exudes" Matilda turned to meet my gaze. "Well, I think it's time to get dressed. It'll start raining soon" Matilda said, standing up and dusting her body. She brought out a chiffon dress from the branch of a tree.

I shouted and ran to her on the floor I tapped her body but she wasn't responding. “You have to get here now. Emily has fainted.” I said to Bella and then called Mabel next. “What happened?” I asked the people around but they were all quiet. “We just heard a bang sound and rushed in. It must be Matilda because her and her crew rushed out.” “Who the hell is Matilda?” “She is quiet popular in College. How come you don’t know her? Her father owns part of the university.” Another one said with a laugh.

Niki rolled his eyes as he picked up his school bag. “Did you pack your medication? Your oxygen mask, I don't want you to…” Niki cut her mid sentence “check check check, I packed it all no need to worry”. Matilda patted his head with a smile “ you're a big boy now, and so responsible, c'mon let's go now”. *************** Matilda hurriedly went past everyone she met on the stairs, she cannot afford to get late to her desk before Jaden arrives. She got to her desk panting heavily and let out a sigh of relief “I hope he has not arrived yet” She said as she started to arrange her desk.

Third year nursing meant that we were doing clinicals in acute settings in the hospital. I was particularly fond of the surgical and maternity units. Kate however did not enjoy her maternity rotation, seeing all the things her body was about to go through freaked her out a little. It didn't help that her first maternity patient had a 3rd degree perineum tear and her second one had to have an emergency C-section with hysterectomy as her uterus had ruptured beyond repair. "I don't want my wife to do this using her hand but I am an expert on killing mortals." Theo said and walked back and forth. "Why are you calling me mortals?" Matilda asked him when she realised that they were calling her mortal. "Because you are weak!" Theo answered and shifted into his wolf form. Matilda froze at what she saw and shivered when Theo walked near her. She started crying in fear and beg for her life. "Pl— please do— don't kill m— me!" She stuttered and tried not to look into Theo's eyes.
