I'd use everything I have to pave his road to ruin. A cold glint flashed in my eyes. I walked to the balcony, looked down at the tiny pedestrians below, and tossed some tissue paper over the edge. After a long time, I returned to the bedroom and kept myself busy for a while. I then lay on the bed with my eyes closed to feign sleep. The room was silent, save for the ticking clock. Near dawn, I heard the door open. I clenched my fists tightly under the blanket. Soft footsteps approached. I sensed a silhouette stopping by the bed. A fanatical, nauseating voice drifted to my ears.

When I saw my old friend before me again, so animated and full of life, I was both shocked and overjoyed. I had somehow gone back to the time before the graduation trip. This was the very beginning of the tragedy that was about to unfold. "What's wrong with Channing? Did he lose his mind after hearing that Britney Lambert, the campus belle, is coming with us?
