I waited as the girls brought out different designs of night wear to show me, but I was unable to find one that I loved until they brought out a basic black one that had the emblem of a crescent moon embroidered all over the hem of the short silk gown. I nodded, this one was pretty, "I can dress up myself, don't worry about me." Even though I loved the princess treatment, I wasn’t that lazy to allow other people dress me up in a simple nightwear that I could wear by myself. After some time had passed, I was well prepared to go to bed; unfortunately, I was not destined to enjoy a restful night tonight.

He bowed, then retreated, pulling the door shut behind him. The quiet closed back in. For a long moment, I just stood there with the chest in my hands and my heart pounding in my throat. When that was done, I went into the bedchamber and grabbed my gown. It was obsidian-black, with fitting, lacy, long sleeves and a flowing skirt and petticoat that accommodated my hips. There was a sweetheart neckline that displayed just enough cleavage, and shimmering designs decorated the gown, giving it an elegant yet dark appearance. White pearls adorned my ears, neck, and hand. I also wore simple, black heels.

She kept her eyes glued to the floor, her hands shaking visibly as she held a piece of dark fabric over her arm. I stood up. "Ma'am," she whispered. Her voice trembled. "The Boss wants you to wear this. He sent for you." I walked closer and took the fabric from her. The sheer weightlessness of it made my stomach drop. I let it unfold. It was a black silk nightgown. The straps were impossibly thin, the neckline dipped low, lined with intricate black lace, and the hem would barely reach my mid-thigh. It wasn't entirely sheer, but it was far from modest.

I knew that we were supposed to take it slow since he couldn't fully control his inner beast, but that didn't mean that we should erase the sexual tensions between us, right? I took a deep breath and put on the black silk nightgown with thin shoulder straps and a neckline exposing just the right amount of cleavage.
