Into His Darkness

Into His Darkness

“Well, literally, the woman led astray. It’s based on Alexander Dumas’s book, La Dame aux Camelias.” I opened the strange book Roxy gave me. It was torn from several places, most of its pages were unrecognizable, it was all tattered and torn but some of its pages were still intact. From the first look of it I can tell it was more than hundred years old. Roxy handled it with care as I can clearly saw how she had tried to bind it. I flipped through the pages. I can’t understand anything as expected. After I turned to the twenty page, I saw a white page stapled with the main page of the book. my first guess was that it was Roxy’s writing.

Hello lovely people! sorry for leaving you all hanging in middle of nowhere. I seriously didn't get time in past month to update for which I am really sorry. I will try to complete the story in this book only. Please be patient with me as I am recently acquainted to college life.

I'm guessing that English isn't your first language. Maybe it would be best to hire an editor? Some of the grammar mistakes make for a confusing read. I have had to re-read quite a few lines and guess the meaning with context clues. I'm intrigued with the story so keep it coming!

Sweet Marriage: Dear Lady, You're Mine

Sweet Marriage: Dear Lady, You're Mine

Charles thought to himself, "Ancient romance novels? What the hell is that?" Charles, who had never read novels before, fell deep into thought. He decided to consult the people in the Handsome Men Group for help. Charles asked, "My wife said that she likes to read ancient romance novels. What is this?" Cyrus replied, "It's the same thing as those novels earlier, but the context is shifted from modern to ancient times. The male protagonist's role will then shift from a domineering CEO to an emperor, prince, general, or something like that."

Annecy movement spread through Germany, Italy and Spain, publishing a series of books, which stated the coordinates of how women should follow, with the illustration of a beguine from the book 'Des dodes dantz ', printed by Matthäus Brandis in Lübeck, Germany (1489) During the great witch hunt, one of its creators, in which each of them were hunted, had a general, who sent a follower to ask for help to Veronika's territories. She had been condemned to this agonizing death for having written a mystical work called Miroir des Simples Âmes (“The mirror of simple souls”, in free translation) – a dialogue between Love, Reason and the Soul, written around 1300. he growled as he left the room, slamming the door close, heading towards the direction of the attic and the library. Meanwhile, I sat down down on a swirl chair in the mini library that housed not less than one hundred books, getting sleepy over the interesting novel I was reading when I heard Armani practically screaming my name as he approached the library. The novel was all about a young mistress in search of her missing master with the hope of a happy reunion when she finally sees him.The story was set to medivial times of old, the year seventeenth hundredths to be precise. The novel was the first thing that caught my attention when I stepped into the library. It had a fantastic silver c

My shoulders sagged and I growled softly in mortification. "I know nothing about love, Arram. I've been alone for centuries. How does one woo someone," I questioned him curiously and he snapped his fingers and handed me a stack of books. He told me to read them. I looked at the spines for titles, Romeo and Juliet, Wuthering Heights and The Notebook.

The Pure-Hearted Princess and the Kiss of Darkness

He must have come during his short break, not even bothering to change out of his royal attire. Beneath the cloak, his gold-inlaid armor gleamed faintly under the soft light, every engraved pattern glowing with a muted, refined sheen. I could hear the faint, rhythmic clink of metal with each movement he made, low, steady like the heartbeat of a man whose heart had long turned to steel. A silver ring shaped like a crescent moon encircled his finger, catching the light and sending a shiver through me. It was the royal seal of the Lycan King, the mark of one who commanded thousands and the symbol of eternal solitude.

The House of the Damned: Sin & Deceit (A Dark Romance)

The fire in the grand hearth spat and hissed, throwing its light against dark-paneled walls in patterns that shifted with each breath the flame took, shadows reaching and retreating across surfaces that had been accumulating the history of this house for longer than I had been alive. The bed was massive. Canopied, draped in fabrics that belonged to another century, the century of the portraits downstairs, the century of passion and consequence and the particular understanding that beauty and destruction were not opposites but close neighbors. I looked at it and felt the vertigo of the moment press against my sternum. The surfaces told me things.

Even Antonio and Benigno seem more human than her,’ Enrique grumbles. I smile, stifling a giggle. Now’s not the time to laugh, but he is so adorable. He jumps down first, and I jump after. He catches me, although I would have been fine, and places me down as we look around at what appears to be a dirty, small room. It’s extremely dusty, yet it holds countless books and boxes. I recognise the symbols on one of the books, my eyes widening. These are grimoires! What is this place?

I said pulling three thick books from my bag and slamming them on the table. He rolled his eyes and looked at me with a bored expression. "You think the answer is in some musty old books?" he asked. "Trust me, I've looked." "Just listen," I ordered. "I spent hours in the Alpha's library trying to find something...anything about witchcraft. After scrawling through almost every book I was beginning to think I was going mad but then I realised something. The books I was looking through were stories and historical facts about the pack- not top secret information concerning magic. I truly enjoyed reading this book. There were parts the the feeling became very intense and I had to put it down. Then, once I was ready, I picked it back up and couldn’t put it down until it was finished. The story played in my head, predicting what might happen next, and I found it hard to sleep. TY

This is one of the most riveting books I have had the pleasure to read. Even though I haven’t slept in 2 days I couldn’t put it down and finished reading it over the past 6 hours. While it is a story of wars, rape, beatings and constant struggles reading it has allowed me to find peace. Thanks 💕
