Angela told Griffin. Griffin pulled out his phone and saw a full screen of notifications from Anna. Unanswered calls and messages flooded his screen, but he ignored them. "Come on, it's a holiday, Griffin! Why are you here?" someone chimed in, approaching him. The person looked fresh and neat. "Are all girls this troublesome?" Griffin asked Dicky, who squinted at him, surprised by the question from his friend and company president. "Who? Anna?" Dicky guessed.

“Figured I’d make an entrance.” I didn’t know whether to laugh or hit her. “ I missed you” “ Who wouldn't?” She said smirking. Ky had been my best friend once. Before everything got complicated. For a second she wanted to scream and run into his arms but she held herself in time. "Jack, my man. Where have you been all these goddamn years?", Skywalker greeted him. Meg was confused. Jack was Leo's best friend and she never knew? "Meghan Summers", Jack walked up to her. "Jack Grayson", Meghan replied quietly and said no more. What was she supposed to say? "How do you know Jack?", Jean asked Meghan. "He is an old friend of mine", she answered. " Old friend?", Jack asked her "I used to work for him. Not anymore", Meghan said to no one in particular.

Griffin asked, his eyes showing genuine concern. Griffin, my good old childhood friend, had been hiding his true identity and sneaked into Aaron's mansion to look out for me. "Friends?" Griffin nodded enthusiastically. "Yes, friends! We've worked together on projects and...and...uh, stuff." Jace looked unsure, but Griffin quickly changed the subject. "Hey, do you want more mac 'n cheese?" Jace's face lit up again. "Yeah! I love mac 'n cheese!" Griffin smiled, relieved to have dodged the question. He served Jace another helping hand, trying to push aside his feelings for Sarah. But it was hard to ignore the way his heart skipped a beat when he thought about her.
