“Maybe we could choose one of their names?”
“What was your mother’s name?” I asked, softly stroking the side of her face.
She laughed. “Tabitha.” She shifted her body to face me, propping her elbow on the back of the couch. “What was your mother’s name?”
I smiled. “Marie,” I replied. “My grandmother’s names were Mary and Claire.”
“I like the name Marie …” she said, thinking aloud.
“I really like the name Sirena,” I replied, “and paired with Steel, Sirena Steel. It kind of has a ring to it, doesn’t it?”
