1st Death

1st Death

DEATH; DEATH IS an enchantress. Whether you’re young or old; rich or poor; there will come a day when be ensnared by it and succumb to the grave, eventually. The love could’ve been looming over your cotton-soft heart since your birth, or an acquired intimacy for it one day while sat in the wool; for as long as one had as ever trod shoe-leather.

Alpha Aiden and Luna Ashira (CMA Book Two)

Alpha Aiden and Luna Ashira (CMA Book Two)

“I think… that is not a person, not a wolf, not from this realm. It emits its presence so we would acknowledge its arrival. Naturally, he or she is not alive.” My jaw dropped. “Is it someone that came from the undead? How could that be?” “I don’t think that is possible but I remember Jacob told me about this ‘messenger’. His description for that messenger fits the one we saw today.” “It’s looking for Quillon, Aiden! We must warn Seth about this.” Aiden shook his head that made my jaw drops more. What? “The messenger’s power is not complete, Jacob is right. It has no full power of tracking down its objectives. Quillon will be fine. For now.” then he sighed, “I’ll order for their immediate ret

Sigh, he has really aged and his life was continuing to reduce with each passing day. "Don't worry. I know what I am doing." Kelly said. Although he had an assured look on his face, Kevin did not fully trust him. Just as Kelly was about to leave, a messenger came in panting while holding a special item in his hand. When Kelly saw what it was, his expression changed slightly but it soon returned to normal. What the messenger was carrying was a special communication tool that could be used by the alpha to send a message to another alpha. "Alpha…... Alpha…." the messenger murmured as he tried to catch his breath. He had really exhausted himself by running at such a high speed.

The Reaper and The Devil

As he opened his door he noticed Mary was waiting for him. "Is everything alright?" Now that Death was fully standing, the height difference made Mary's anxiety with speaking to him worse. "I-I have an, an, um, urgent message from Heaven, s-sir." Death noticing the anxiousness quickly went to his desk to sit down. 'She's so good at handling herself with everything else except when it comes to me.' Death thought, tapping his fingers on the desk. "What's the message?" Mary, now taking a breath before speaking, relayed the message.

Lunaborn at Moonridge Academy

Lunaborn at Moonridge Academy

Only a handful of people had this number of mine, and fewer dared to use it. I answered. “Took you long enough.. Check on the Beast of Grazilio.” There was a pause on the other end, then a disbelieving scoff. “I know you’re crazy but what the hell Thorne.. What kind of bloody request is that?” I leaned back in the driver’s door, my gaze fixed on the moonlit treeline. “A death messenger has been spotted close by and the description I got… it matches. Someone must have awoken the Beast.”

SAVAGE LUNA

SAVAGE LUNA

"You think you’re in a position to make demands? You’re a stray wolf playing queen. You had better know your place and stop clowning, little girl. The Council doesn't negotiate with trash." My anger started building up, a hot pressure in my chest. I wanted to rip him off that horse, but I managed to hold it in. I needed to stay professional. I opened my mouth to tell him again to leave, but I never got the chance. Suddenly, I heard a sharp, swooshing sound. The messenger’s eyes widened, his hands flying to his throat as he let out a choked gasp. A second later, he tumbled sideways off his horse and dropped dead in the dirt. An arrow was buried deep in his neck.

The Luna of Death

The Luna of Death

But as I looked around the room, none of them looked at me with fear their eyes all lit up with hope and gratitude. My gaze drifted to a young man lying on a stretcher, his eyes meeting mine with an expression of gratitude, not fear. Slowly, I made my way over to him. “Thank you, Luna of Death,” he whispered, his voice a soft melody over the quiet murmur in the hall. “For this gift—I will remember you even in the afterlife and be forever in your debt.”

The Wolf King's Vow

The Wolf King's Vow

Adrian told him. "If you insist." The prisoner said. She could hear the sarcasm in his voice. "My name is Marcus." Adrian was about to write something when he paused. Why? Did he know of him? He looked up from the notebook in his hand. "That is a good name." He said. "Messenger of God." "It is and I have a message for you. You will die soon." "And I am guessing you will kill me." "Good guess." The prisoner said.

They’d made sure to take everything of even the smallest value off his body, including his fucking shoes. And most importantly, the letter—my letter to Natalia—was nowhere to be seen at first glance. “We believe it was a rogue ambush,” the scout said grimly. “Likely recognized him as a messenger and decided to intercept.” Of course they had. I knelt beside the body, jaw clenching and unclenching as I carefully turned him over and looked at his face. The messenger had been young, maybe twenty. He’d had his whole life ahead of him. And now he was dead. Poor kid.

I really enjoy this novel and hope to see more, as it’s been 2 months. I miss the original cover and how it reflected the FL’s strength and leadership. The new cover suggests a very different kind of story. Please bring back original cover, or hope future artwork better reflects the story.

I love this story! 594 chapters in and I still find myself captivated by it. The characters, the world building and the evolving nature of everything is so fascinating. I’d love to see what happens next, and I really hope this continues!

The Death He Never Died

The Death He Never Died

There, right beside my husband Brandon in the photo, was my so-called best friend, Melissa. … Snapping out of it, I stared at Melissa's two-faced expression. She must have known about the lottery win by then. They had probably plotted the whole thing, faking his death to pocket the cash. "Noelle, don't take it so hard. You're already unwell. What if Brandon's death makes you worse?" I shrugged off Melissa's hand and asked with eerie calm, "Where's Brandon's body? I want to see him." Melissa blinked, thrown off by my composure. "In the ward," she stammered.
