AURORA’S POV I closed my eyes and focused on the place I had seen in my memories and tried to teleport there. A few minutes later I had fallen on the ground, drenched in sweat and panting with exertion. My magical powers weren’t enough to penetrate the dark shield. There was only one way now… Teleporting to the sanctuary, I took out ‘The Heart of Magic’. I shivered at the currents of power coursed through me by just holding it.

Besides, if magic was real, why couldn't this guy be a psychic? 'And maybe I'll grow a tail and swim away,' she thought dreamily. 'If only.' She felt her smile grow wider with every step Damien took in her direction. When he stopped in front of her and took the leash from Psychic Boy, Damien looked at her like she'd gone crazy. "I don't remember you ever smiling this much," he commented. He had a point. "Uh, well, you make me happy," Belle explained. "The spell has turned her into your dog," Psychic Boy offered an alternative theory. "If she had a tail it would be wagging. She whines all day when you're gone. Obeys your every command."

"Words are, in my not-so-humble opinion, our most inexhaustible source of magic. After having lunch and getting desserts with the girls, I felt bad for leaving Nat alone at home so we had cut our Christmas shopping short and gone home afterward.

However, for the orcs, a healing shaman can provide the same healing as a priest, and an elemental shaman can use offensive spells like a mage, which is enough, after all, many human mages can't play with many of their spells for a straight person like them. Seeing that they couldn't support themselves under the siege of humans, the centauress suddenly took out a metal token. “No good!” Christine saw the token and recognized it as a magic item, immediately consumed two spell slots to instantly launch a level one spell “Trance”, which could cause the target creature to fall into a trance, appearing frozen and unable to cast spells or use magic power to open magic items. Although there was a c

"Now I have access to all her protective knowledge. Her wards, her counter-spells, her precious secrets." She turned to Melissa, extending her hand. Dark energy flowed between them as they recited different spells. "You'll need this for what comes next," Margaret explained. "The boy is transforming. The broken curse magic, combined with his existing power, is turning him into something neither human nor wolf. Something perfectly suited to our needs." "What kind of something?" Melissa asked Margaret smiled. "A hunter. A werewolf hunter compelled to find and end the whole werewolf species” Melissa furrowed her eyebrow “But how would that help the other twin. The girl, the one with dark magic”

His eyes caught on a footnote at the bottom: See also: Fated Bonds for cases of supernatural attraction overriding species instinct. Nathan froze. The Special Section required faculty permission, but the wolf in him recognized opportunity. He waited until the librarian stepped away before slipping behind the circulation desk. The Special Section door opened with a creak that set his teeth on edge. Inside, the air smelled different—older, heavier with magic. His night vision sharpened as he scanned the shelves until he found it: Fated Bonds: When Instinct Overrides Reason. The cover felt strangely warm under his fingertips, bound in what his wolf recognized immediately as wolfskin.

Varrow leaned against the wall, bleeding but grinning. “You should let it take him,” he said, voice ragged. “One less threat to you.” Killian didn’t even look at him. He poured his will into the magic — not to control the shadows, but to change them. He pushed light into them, thin cracks of pale silver running along the tendrils like veins. The First hissed. For a moment, the pull weakened. Daryl’s body stopped sliding. His breathing was shallow, ragged, but he met Killian’s eyes.

Harry tilts his head in confusion. “I’m not a demon, I’m an Incubus, that’s a totally different species. And why the hell are you so convinced that I’m using magic on her?” He questions. His tone is oddly calm, totally different from the dark tone he had a moment ago. What is going on? I start to feel a trickle of Harry’s magic rolling through me, but not the usual lust or excitement I usually get from him. This is more like… fear? But not quite. Stress? Is stress even an emotion? Either way the magic is making me feel stressed. Is he trying to make Simon MORE agitated? Why the hell would he do that? Or is he doing it by accident somehow? I really need to ask Harry more about how his magic w

She spoke in a tone full of grief, "For example, transmutation." I didn't know. But the well-informed Aaron obviously knows this thing, and his face was unprecedentedly serious. "A spell that can turn a beta into an alpha, an omega into a beta, and even catalyzes the evolution of a half-wolf into a complete werewolf." "That's right." Saying these words seemed to drain Susan's energy, and her tone became even grimmer.
