The earth trembled beneath her, the force of her transformation cracking the ground like thunder. Her clothes shredded, disintegrating into nothingness as the transformation overtook her. Her skin shimmered, turning an ethereal white, the fur sprouting from her body a shining coat of snow. The pain was excruciating, but there was no stopping it now. It was a part of her, and she had finally embraced it.

It turns out, her enemies were using weapons made of witchcraft which had the advantage. A wooden bat with heavy metal spikes embedded on it bashed into her crystal nonstop. More cracks started to appear. Dozens more surrounded her until the sunlight was blocked. After she lost consciousness, the crystal she was in, shattered into pieces. When they were about to strike again, something unexpected happened to Uneece. She transformed into a huge amber-colored Lycan with long crystal spikes covering her spine down to her tail. The power of her transformation blew her enemies away. She then growled unrelentingly loud so that it shook the ground and spooked the birds in their nest in the forest.

Harken is a warrior of the pack, not someone you can deal with at your disposal! I shot Ravyn a glare, and she immediately shrank behind Harken in fear. As I took another step forward, she trembled even more. She seemed so delicate and fragile that she looked nothing like a werewolf. Harken protected her tightly. "Have you had enough? That was the most important thing. AUTHOR’S POV It was already the sixth day since Aileen began her transformation, today, she woke up from her slumber and the last part of her transformation began. Aileen opened her mouth to scream, however, she could not. Her breath had been knocked out of her. Aileen’s skin stretched and rippled, as though it were a canvas being violently stretched and painted anew. Her bones cracked and shifted beneath her flesh, producing sickening, bone chilling sounds. She gasped for breath, her lungs struggling to adapt to the changing shape of her ribcage.

"And your men are about to find out that you can't put a leash on the tide." The intellectual twist hit the courtyard as the first soldier screamed. It was not a cry of pain, but a sound of structural transformation. His rifle clattered to the marble as his fingers fused, his spine lengthening with the wet, grinding sound of bone meeting bone. In medicine, we call it metamorphosis, a process usually reserved for insects. But this was the Primal Shift. Because these men were not born to the blood, their bodies were not prepared for the grace of the wolf. They were turning into something older, something more monstrous.
