Author's POV Rafael was looking at silent faces. Some were scared and some were curious with wicked smiles. But no one dared to talk, his eyes were enough to silence them all. They were in a meeting at their castle. A big round table just like a royal one. Open windows were blowing the wind and giving the calm view of the moonlight. The night was definitely calm but not the hearts present in the room. "Mikhail, you said they have questions!" Rafael looked at him.

@RedBoxingGloves: "Nobody guessed. Her name is Midnight and she is none other than the long lost daughter of Lion Vosse. A half-wolf. I look forward to her return to #BM tomorrow." I stop myself from replying to those comments because I think I might get in trouble. Also, I'm not sure if Midnight is going to be happy with this new attention she's about to get. If I say anything and let it be known that we are friends, everything is going to get worse for her. I put my phone aside after being on it for almost half an hour and pick up my book, ready to sit down and read it.

They’ve attacked us as well, we were able to fend them off but they got a few outside guardians we certainly weren’t happy to lose. They’re fighting them on their own turf, trying to keep it as far away from here as possible. The fight started tonight and we’re waiting for word,” Sebastian said.

There is a new vibe in this castle. So many new, rapidly promoted Rising Star Beta Guards lurking around every corner. Outnumbering White Forest and Shadowlands substantially. I remember visiting this castle often as a child. Luna Hollie and Brandon always made it warm and inviting. The fixtures are all more lavish than White Forest. More marble, gold, and brighter, bigger windows should make it less cold. Except it feels like a morgue now. Talon is clawing away with anxiety. I trust Maddox to protect her, but we need to get out of here. It didn’t help that when Cillian led me towards the dungeon to interview the arrested men, we found Phillipe in one of the cells.
