“You know, you never told me your name.”
“Sasha,” Lisa and Sasha chorused, then broke into soft laughter.
The smile on Sasha’s face vanished when I took a stride into the kitchen.
Good.
What the hell made her so happy, by the way?
“Welcome, sir. Do you need anything?” Lisa asked.
“Hello, Lisa. I’m good.”
Sasha’s eyes didn’t leave the table she was leaning on.
It felt like she couldn’t wait for me to leave so she could continue her lovely conversation with her favorite people in the world.
