Maryann: Today is my brother's birthday. Mike Matthew is turning 21 years old. He's a soccer player—tall, dark-skinned, with a strong athletic body. He informed me that he invited several of his friends to our home for his birthday celebration. Our parents are busy people. Dad, Mavin Mathew, works as a banker, and Mom, Ella Matthew, is a television broadcaster. So they cannot even take a break from work to celebrate Mike's birthday with him today.

I can’t stop myself from pacing back and forth as I listen to the sound of water falling from the shower as I try to find the right words to say to Mikey. Honestly, I am not sure why I am even considering what Aunt Lana and my Mom said to me while Mikey was unconscious as a solution. My heart continues to beat so fast against my chest that it makes me wonder why I still haven’t had a heart attack. “I wonder what is it that makes my Little Wolf so nervous that she hasn’t even noticed my presence,” Mikey said, a mischievous smile on his face as he leaned against the wall near the bathroom wearing nothing but a navy blue boxer shorts.

“When it comes to you, I can do anything, my queen.” “Uncle, you and aunt love is indeed the greatest of all I have ever seen.” Mike revealed. “Really Mike?” I inquired, resting my body on Richard’s firm chest. “I’m absolutely serious, aunt. You both are growing old yet you’re still acting like young lovers.” “How can you look at my appearance and still call me old, Mikey?” I asked in shock. “What’s wrong about that, my queen? Ain’t you getting old?” “I’m not old but you are, sweetheart. I still have two more years to clock sixty, and how is that described as old?”

Mike really was as close to flawless as a man could reasonably be. “So I hope that when you are both less busy, you’ll stay in touch and get to know each other better,” Mrs. Lloyd said warmly. “Mike is still young, only twenty-seven. I imagine he could eventually be reassigned back to Hamilton.” Miranda remembered Mike at the base. The way he thrived on challenge, on problem-solving, on pressure. He did not strike her as someone who wanted a quieter post. She smiled slightly. “I think he prefers the environment he’s in now.”

They promised to be up in a couple of days. Michelle is the oldest of us three kids. At twenty she is not only pretty but sometimes too smart for her own age. I am the only boy at fifteen and our younger sister Mildred is Sixteen years old. She is generally the sensible one. I guess I am lucky to have two very beautiful sisters. At least that’s what all my friends keep telling me.

Brieanna asked. "I'm all grown up. I'm twenty four for Pete's sake," William cooly answered that made her raise a brow and gasped. "You're five years older than me!" She exclaimed. Not in her wildest thoughts did she think that he was so much older than her. She really can't believe it! William laughed at the expression she just showed. "What're you laughing at?" Brieanna asked him frowning. "Do I really look that old to you?" William asked back chuckling. Brieanna then glared at him with confusion on her face. "I'm actually twenty one and going to be twenty two on April 7th."

I asked. "Well, I was waiting for you," he replied with an annoyed look. As if I care anyways. Mike and I are actually age mate, tho he is a year older than I am, I consider him my age mate. "Why? You are done with work for today, what are you waiting for?" I questioned fixing my hands on my waist. "Well...just wanted to make sure you get to land mall without getting caught by secret cameras," he responded. "When did you start worrying about that?"

I’ve been in Moon Grove for close to a month now. I already miss being able to hold Mikey in my arms and make him laugh. The thought of him growing up makes me want to cry. I know it’s impractical and impossible, but I want him to be small and cute forever. I’m not ready to even think about him being Coit’s age and finding a mate. Thankfully, that’s still a long way off from now. “Mikey is a darling. He won’t be anything like he’s Uncle Coit,” I declare.

I knew that it was close to impossible for anyone to help me find him with the limited information that I had…but still… I’m just not willing to give up. I can’t give up on him…even after all this time… “His name is Mikey. He’s roughly 7 or 8 years older than me so…right now he should be around 32 or 33 years old. He’s got auburn red hair and very beautiful green eyes…he’s kind and always takes care of me…” I tried my best to describe the person that I was looking for.

Justin was going to ask why but Liam answered. "The room is soundproof and I locked the door because I didn't want anyone walking in on us unannounced." Liam elucidated. "I'm Madison, I'm thirteen, will be fourteen next month." The happy girl bowed, making both Justin and Mila laugh. "And I'm Liam, fifteen, will be sixteen October." He winked at Justin who was certain he turned jelly instantly. "Oh wow, that's awesome! Justin's birthday is October too!" Mila and her smart mouth yelled.
