Irritated, I pulled it away from him and closer to myself. "Sorry. I couldn't help myself. I'm always so interested in myths and legends. The stories are so amazing. I'd just never seen that one before, the one you were looking at. About wolves that are cursed to remain as humans. That's like... A twisted version of the werewolf story." He kept rambling on, telling the story of creation and how all 'supernatural' beings were created. I didn't know how this pertained to me because I was a wolf and nothing else but I was drawn to Motty's story and when he was done, looking up at me like he expected me to have a question of some kind, I realized that this must be it. This must be the informant

I tell him, before I start running to hide, pulling Issac along with me. Issac and I find a spot behind a bush and sit down, waiting. “So, did you learn anything from this book?” I ask and he nods. “Maybe.” He pulls the book out of his back pocket and starts going through the pages. The wolf senses and light from the moon making reading in the dark, while still hard not impossible. He stops at a page and shows it to me. “Apparently, if this book knows anything real, there’s like a whole pack ran by a golden wolf. Like even now, the golden wolf is like their Alpha.” He explains and I take the book to read over it.

Melissa immediately bared her teeth in a growl. The other wolf responded in kind. For a while they circled each other. Who are you? Melissa thought to herself. She didn’t expect the other wolf to answer. I just need to talk. The hell? Taken aback, Melissa almost sat down with shock as she realized the other wolf could hear her. About what? About your clan. The wolf was a dark gray in color with hazel eyes. I don’t mean you harm, but I need help. Melissa kept her teeth bared as she considered this. She had no idea what was going on. Hell a week ago, she hadn’t even known that Lycans existed, let alone clans and all the societal expectations.

I grabbed the book with the drawing of the white wolf and began to flip through the pages. "What?" She asked. "You're the mythical White Wolf, Gemma. You're the reincarnate of the wolf that is only born every hundred years." I replied, turning the book to her. I heard her sharp intake of breath. She took the book from me and stared at the picture then turned to the next page. "So, this was me?" She asked. "Yes." GEMMA I couldn't believe it. This book was saying that I was one of the most powerful wolves that would ever exist.

She found the section on history books first, she reached for an old book that caught her eyes, with a thick brown, worn cover and a picture of a wolf on it, one that looked quite similar to the painting of the wolf on the wall in the living room. How strange? She took it immediately, having found her next read, she skipped out of the library and back to her room. She sat curled up in bed by the window, lunch was served by a servant as promised, she ate and stuck to get book. This book, titled, 'The Wolf Within' she had never really read anything like it. It seemed more like a fictional write up, than a history book. It talked about a wolf that was embedded into the souls of 'special people'

Wayne muttered and Olive whipped her head at him, scowling deeply. “Don't even think using words like that on me will get me to stop being angry,” she blurted but Wayne laughed and winked. “This is a masterpiece. It contains every myth and legend regarding the firewolf, what is true and not true,” Mufasa spoke out as he began glancing through the pages. “Apparently, they're rare and only happen in millenniums. According to Milicent who almost turned us all to book shelves of course,” Crusoe stated.

I won't be able to update this book tomorrow because I'll be doing a quick edit to the work before I resume writing. I promise "The wolf Prince" will be back in a matter of a day ( 21/07/2021). Sleek and white. The crowd cheered as she circled me,her growls low and menacing. I clenched my fists,feeling the faint stir of my wolf beneath my skin. “She's weak.” Ethan growled behind me “ she doesn't belong here,and never will.” His words were like fuel to flame. Rage overwhelmed me,and I felt the fire of my wolf ignite once more. I closed my eyes,praying that my wolf will answer me,and this time,she did. Power surged through me,and when I opened my eyes,the crowd gasped. My red fur shimmered,my claws extended like sharp blades.

I have only ever heard stories from my seniors of werewolf's being able to stand on two legs, I thought it was just a myth considering I've been a werewolf hunter for so long, killed hundreds of wolves and has never seen one this big. This must be what they call a hybrid wolf, a wolf much more ruthless than an alpha. During all that was happening I somehow notice that he or it was gorgeous. The kind of beauty that shouldn't belong to something so deadly. And yet, as he turned to look at me, there was no cruelty there. Only concern.
