"Milo?" The screens filled with static, then a grainy image formed. A boy sat in a room made of old web pages. He had dark curls, a hoodie two sizes too large, and eyes that looked thirteen forever. Around his wrists were black paper bands. Behind him, the Tail's debt ledger breathed. Aaliyah made a sound she would have denied in court. Milo smiled weakly. "You got taller." She laughed and cried at the same time. "You stayed short."

Milo had brown skin, light brown eyes and dark hair that was neatly cut. He had a very neat, but full beard and a neat mustache to match.

His eyes are intense with concentration as he bench presses almost five hundred pounds. He is dripping in sweat with no shirt on. His shorts are low on his hips, with his tattooed torso on full display. When he finishes his set, he sits up and grins at someone with that goofy lopsided smile he gets when he jokes around. His gray eyes sparkle as he says something, but there’s no sound to the image.

He was a man with physical features of strength. He had long, light brown hair in low ponytail against his back. On his head circles a metal silver band with an insignia of a general --- a sword against a spark of light. Around his neck he wore a necklace with a crystal glowing with faint light. He hovered above her on his wingly that was rhythmically flapping about to keep afloat on air.

Did that wolf just shift to a man, and wait... why... is that man so familiar?'

She said, looking at herself in the mirror and flickering her long hair behind when her phone flashed with Aries’s name. She took the phone. “Video?” she pressed the play button and almost shrieked. Milo was playing happily in the video catching the ball thrown in the air and he looked healthier and happy and visibly appeared big. A man, possibly a dog trainer, was training him for obedience, and he followed his every command.
