We were the storm, and t he silver mist was finally clearing.

Misty I land on my feet in a sea of mist. Silver fog snakes around my ankles, around my glimmering armour made of pure light. For a moment, I think I’m… lost within the aether–in the misty, shadowed undercurrent that separates our realm from the Goddess’s kingdom. But wet grass squishes beneath my boots as I stumble forward, breathless, damn near in pieces. Rain pelts the top of my head as I grope for anything to grab onto before I careen toward the ground.

Her face is really pale like white onion, while her eyes were wet as if she was cutting an onion. "You know, imagination might help," Chandler mumbled. "What imagination?" Maxine inquired. "Imagine seeing the clouds behind that closed window," he said then looked at the closed window beside her. "When clouds lie as numerous as pebbles on a beach, small and heaped in chaotic ways. They are drifting mist, thin, oddly transparent, like a half erased footprint in sand." 'Very poetic,' Maxine gasped inside her mind. Rather than asking further, she tried to do what he has shared. She shut her eyes and imagined herself walking above the clouds.

The way up was incredibly steep, and not easy for ordinary people to climb. Most tourists would stop there, sitting at the pavilions to look down at the scenery. They could have a complete view of the bottom of the mountain. "Iris, are we going to continue up?" Leon asked. "Oh, let's continue! I heard that the clouds and the mist make for an amazing sight on the top of the mountain. I want to see what it's like," Iris said after some hesitation. The origin of the name Mistcloud mountain came from the breathtaking sights on the top of the mountain. It was an incredibly rare and beautiful sight.

The mist in Puncak was not like the mist in Paris. In the French capital, the fog felt like a romantic veil, a soft blur that turned the city into a painting. Here, amidst the charred ruins of the Zea estate, the mist felt like cold breath against the back of Serena’s neck—the exhalation of a mountain that had witnessed her family’s destruction.

She smiled. “We finally met as ourselves,” she looked at the mist and then at me. Sensing my confusion, she said. “This mist makes it easier for souls to exit and enter a body. It is an ancient magic. In the spiritual world, this is known as the Ocean’s mist because it is indeed as deep and mysterious as the ocean itself. This mist is a portal, a bridge to many worlds and dimensions and realities. It becomes what you make of it. It responds to your deepest desires. Your father was a very intelligent man to have figured it out.” I smiled faintly with a hard gulp, licking my chapped lips.

My mind was under a race with so many scary thoughts that made me sweat with fear. I should stay here and not move a step so I can deal with whatever she is up to. "Kristen, can you get it from the kitchen?" I push it on her but she throws me a stern look. "Why would I have to do it?" she retorted. "Please?"I begin a whisper looking into her eyes hoping she understands me. "Get it yourself Madelyn, your being, erm," she whispered strictly. "I hope you understand "she pushes further. And I get what she was on to ' Don't make her feel suspicious about us'

Misty and Rayne: Misty was running towards the garden; she wanted to use the trees to hide. She couldn’t put the boys down to fight it would leave them open to an attack where she couldn't protect them. So although she hated running away from a fight she had to do what's best for the boys, being a god mother right now kinda sucks. Misty said looking down at the boys who were looking at her calmly because they trusted her, that, in and of itself made it worth it.

"You are my tulip!" Words that awakened confusion and a mixture of many feelings she had never experienced before, made a deep, loud replay in Amethyst's head. "What does it mean? What are you trying to say to me?" Questions floated in her head without replies. Her eyes were squinting like a bag of nails as they watched grey clouds whilst they were roaming lazily in the sky, through a window that was awfully covered by cracks. Thou tar-coloured and gloomy, the clouds did not seem scary— at least in her eyes. They seemed to be mocking her, laughing at the confusion that was written all over her features.

He was looking around the clearing, and I grinned. It felt like I was somewhere else, looking at him, as if in a haze, like mist obscuring your view. It was an odd feeling, the complete silence and peace from where I was. I could see Kiran, but it was like I wasn’t in the same realm. I wondered how to make myself appear again; I wanted Kiran to see me, and it felt like I was stepping through a bubble as I was transferred from one realm to another, and he smiled as I appeared in front of him.
