It was a small leather bound journal. I bent down and picked it up. It was Damian's. I'd never seen it before. I opened it, my hands trembling. The pages were filled with his handwriting. It was a journal. My Damian, the man who rarely shared his feelings had been keeping a journal. I flipped through the pages, my eyes scanning the entries. Most of them were about work, about the stress of his job, about the pressure he was under. But as I got closer to the end, the entries became more personal.
