Jack's POV - Finally, Chloe is my wife. I can't express my gratitude to God for giving me her as my life partner. She is closing her eyes with trembling lips which are surely craving to be smashed by my lips. I follow her wish and it takes minimal time when I find my hands to explore her skin.

Chapter 48 Alex's POV: An idea flashed across my mind, as I grabbed my keys, dialed the police officer, and sprinted out of the house. The car roared to life as the officer picked up. "I'm so sorry, sir," He said immediately. "We still haven’t tracked Chloe’s location." I gritted my teeth, steering out onto the road. "Forget about that.” The officer's silence stretched for a second before he asked, "Your wife—has she returned home?”

He barked and she eyed him for a moment and burst into laughter. “You wouldn’t dare do such a thing to me because you know I would whip your ass.” She replied and he chuckled. “Rachel… How dare you!” He thundered as he grabbed her neck, rising slowly. “What makes you think I can’t do what I want? Do you think you have the right to stop me from getting another wife and yes, I intend to make her my new wife, and there’s nothing you can do about it.” He replied sternly and she panted heavily, struggling for breath as she tried to reduce his grip in her neck.

“We are strongest together. That’s what he’s attacking. Not just our company….us. So we fight as us. Not just business partners. Husband and wife. Mom and Dad. Family.” Bella looked at him and saw the man she fell in love with years back and still the same one she is in love with now, the one who stayed, the one who tried, the one who loved her even when things were hard. Some of the tightness in her chest loosened.

Then we can take it to the next level. My body trembles with excitement at the thought of him remembering everything and having me grant him permission to take me. Claim me as his. Which is what I have always dreamt of as his wife. It never happened. But it will. All my dashed hopes are now coming true. Nothing can stop us now from loving each other so much, just like it ought to be in our marriage, except for his loss of memory. Once it's back, everything will return to normal.
