Fireworks In My Heart

Fireworks In My Heart

Is this how my life is gonna end. Suddenly, I felt a hand on my jaw pulling my face upwards and making me look at him .. I looked at him. His face was stained and had blood drops, probably of that poor man he was stabbing mercilessly. His hand was also stained with blood. And his eyes... His eyes were empty. As if they had no feelings, no emotions in them. I was not seeing a human. I was looking at a monster. A living monster.

Dragon Prince's Heart

Dragon Prince's Heart

That cruel sorcerer tortured him alive! Jergintarth down the hall at an accelerating pace. Several dark monsters attacked him furiously. The form of the monsters that attacked Jergintarth was quite disgusting. There was a monster in the form of a collection of sharp-toothed eyeballs, there was a giant eye-shaped one with eight hands, and a spider-legged monster that had very sharp scissor hands. With the power of his fire fist, Jergintarth lunged at the group of monsters and burst in. He fought tooth and nail, dodging the monsters while beating and burning them one by one.

Geez, Sis. I cried. Why did Albus so cruel to separate Astrid and Draco? At first, I burst out laughing because I read that a dragon can drink beer, but after a while, my tears flowed without me realizing it. Well, It turns out that Astrid had fallen in love with the black dragon. Poor Astrid. Why?

Astral Odyssey: Dying Ember

Astral Odyssey: Dying Ember

Nozomi frowned and bent down to check on the other one. Huge unblinking eyes with irises so tiny like grains of rice, greeted her. Its eyes peeked out between its curtain of wet hair, which also covered most of its body. Any exposed skin appeared soggy like melted wax. Nozomi cursed under her breath. As prepared as she had been, her heart had still done a little somersault upon seeing the monster. This monster was not deflating like the parasitic one, but there were the same black wisps leaving its body.

I whisper as my eyes take in the monster named Mangog. His skin is a mixture of red and orange. His massive head has six horns, and his gigantic three-fingered hands have four-inch claws ready to kill. His lips can't close over his fangs, and his tall body is stacked with bulging muscles. My heart immediately begins to pound again. Burk has to fight that! As Burk's name runs through my head, he emerges out from the champion area, looking nothing but calm. His knife is clutched in his hand, and he is approaching the Mangog as if he doesn't have a care in the world.

I’ve now read this book twice. It was fantastic the first time and I caught things I missed the second time. Great storyline, no rushing through the story and I felt like it ended with no loose ends. Can’t wait to read about more of the characters in the next book!

Sarah Killian: The Marching Tides

Sarah Killian: The Marching Tides

I hand Jason the gun and then cross over to Gimli the Formerly Telekinetic to retrieve Borden from his skull. On closer inspection, I realize now that his eyes hadn’t just been closed in concentration but closed permanently. The sunken flesh of the sockets indicates his eyeballs have been long gone, and I can even see the scars from the stitches that once merged his former eyelids into single flaps of flesh.

INTO THE WILDERNESS: The Journey

INTO THE WILDERNESS: The Journey

He shouted and backed up, scared of what he'd just witnessed. He witnessed something weird that he had never imagined to happen to anyone at this precise moment. The crack grew bigger and bigger until it was about ten feet taller than him... Then a thing appeared. The monster was at least twice the size of an elf, with enormous glittering eyes and flashing white teeth that appeared brighter than they were due to the light that had shown through the gap.

She had accelerated her thought by many fold, which was why everything seemed slow. (At least the number of monsters can keep me entertained a bit. I really wish I could fight those giant snakes, but I haven’t figured out how the hell I’m even going to reach them.) She cut through that demon and proceeded toward another monster. It was a giant eyeball surrounded by black flesh. It fired a laser beam from its eye. Akame had already dodged that beam before it was even fired.

I hate the look of my muscles all tense and stitched tight on my back. A lifetime of blows and bouncing back collects scars. I've had a lot of scalding showers, and bruises have become stretched and angry on me, causing pitted scars. There are no tears, but the groans come in multitude. As a monster, you learn never to accept pain. Pain only affects you if you let it. Black slacks. Black socks. Charcoal shoes are polished until they look like a crisp new apple skin. The shirt is deep forest green, which brings out the natural multiple hues of green in my eyes. Intentional. Gold flecks are juxtaposed in my iris.

 The Luna's Promise

The Luna's Promise

The claws were slightly luminescent, with a ghostly glow reflecting its eerie presence. But nothing happened, I thought, watching helplessly as the Stalagtor advanced ever closer. I raised my hand and unleashed my magic, which burst forth from between my fingers like a bolt of lightning. A powerful shockwave struck a boulder next to the Stalagtor. It roared and neared me. Its head was triangular and flattened, with a face partially covered by a rugged, helmet-like formation resembling a large stalagmite. Its eyes were large, multifaceted crystals emitting a dim, eerie yellow light, the only illumination in the dark cave. These eyes could swivel independently, allowing the Stalagtor to keep c

"As expected, you look delicious." I closed my eyes. My heart was pounding harder and harder. His skin felt hot, so hot, and his warm breath fanned across my neck. I gasped when he licked my neck. "Mmm...so fucking good." He growled, running his fingers down to my back. He slid his hand down and down until it reached my panties. Without warning, he slipped his hand inside it. A sharp gasp escaped my mouth. "It's called a magic hand," Luther whispered and nibbled my earlobe. "Let's see, how long would you be able to stand like this."
